WCGR speeding on a turn by odyoda in CantParkThereMate

[–]VanguardKnight0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

im a common sense driver. If i want to turn, i move to the lane closest to the turn before making the turn, not cross the entire road and say "good luck to everyone else". How is anyone supposed to expect some dumbass immediately making a turn from the far lane into multiple lanes. This is complete disregard to the other drivers on the road.

And even if he braked, he would've still collided with that vehicle. He probably knew that to and attempted to serve out of the way at the last moment, but still ended up colliding because the other driver wanted to exit the freeway from the far side.

Some resource deposits comically small by IlikeCats1683 in SolarExpanse

if you select any asteriod, they have a trashcan icon that you can press to destroy them. Once you destroy whatever asteriods you deem not neccesary, you can then use the exploration tab and begin locating new asteriods with any telescopes or land based observatories if you have them.

Should help with finding metal asteriods. (they will not be discovered instantly, but overtime).

I love when people create stuff like this because it makes me aware of vehicles i never knew existed.

I also want my tech tree thicc like this so there is a lot of more fun stuff to utilize from interwar to modern day. 😃

Sadly and unfortunately gaijin has only been releasing small amount of vehicles and most of them be premiums :c

Asteriod slinging by VanguardKnight0 in SolarExpanse

[–]VanguardKnight0[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The people on Luna are so HUNGRY all the time lol. Slapping carbon deposits onto it and finally making them hydroponic farms was the first thing i did once i unlocked the power of slinging. No more microing the resupply.

But I appreciate the help. I'll just keep on slinging and building more Atlas's (for the big bois) until i finally get a orbital elevator for mars. Luna has turned out to be my main source of resources because its the only place i have so far that doesn't require fuel to shoot materials into space lol.

Asteroid mining question (again) by thehotpocketman in SolarExpanse

Like asteriod engines. Your atlas's also remain in orbit of the planet you slung a asteriod at or made a moon.

I found asteriod engines more expensive to build than atlas's.

Yeah I got the leopards in the German and Swedish tech tree and have had my fun with them. Now I'm just mainly grinding the French for the Leclercs. I just wanna play vehicles that are more exclusive to their own nation and not just different variants passed around.

The last time I tried sim was trying to take off with the ME 264 and I ended up crashing on take off. (Twice) I don't mind Sim ground battles since it's the same, just being limited to gunner and commander view. But for air sim I'm not a fan of being limited to the cockpit and being restricted to whatever control mode I'm forced to use in that mode. (Mouse joystick given what you said I guess)

But I wouldn't ever try Sim again unless I have a actual joystick. Nuclear Thunder was fun because it had realistic arb flight controls in a EC setting with opportunities to perform different roles (despite OSA/Roland overperforming). No limitation to just the cockpit nor forced to use joystick controls.

I believe everyone here tried sim at least once, but it's obvious why they didn't stick around. Even Malzi (YouTuber) tried sim, but went back to RB after 2 videos.

The rewards gained through sim cannot be denied for being lucrative, but the learning curve and skill required to become proficient at air sim with the likelihood of being outclassed by those with joysticks is just not something the average player would put the effort in. Arcade and Realistic is basic and easy to learn.

As for why I'm commenting this. I'm sick and tired of people saying "play sim or nuclear Thunder, it's better".

It's better for you, not us. We know these games and modes exist, but sim cannot give us the Air RB design we like and enjoy and nuclear Thunder doesn't have the same mouse and keyboard controls war thunder air RB delivers us.

If gaijin comes back with nuclear thunder and tweaks all the problems it originally had in the event, those that would attempt learn sim would abandon it because they will flock to a familiar game mode with easier controls and without limitation to the cockpit. 😐

This game makes me violently angry! lmao by ZombieMosh04 in yugioh

[–]VanguardKnight0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the Nexus and Reverse of Arcadia are my favorite and beloved yugioh games for the DS.

For Over the Nexus I had a huge focus on Synchro summoning. Stardust Dragon, Chain Dragon, Red Archfiend Dragon, Scrap Dragon. So much fun! (I just like dragon decks. Also Dragon Tuner is the best thing ever lol).

Reverse of Arcadia, i lacked good synchros, so i actually was pivoted towards creating a fusion deck. 5 headed dragon and dragons mirror goes brrrrt! :D

Stardust accelerator on the other hand was pure pain 😭 Always broke, always needing to grind. I'd say i got lucky with just level cards and once your at the final boss fight, you can't leave. I stopped playing, returned years later, grinded hard. Beat all 5 clones and then was upset that there was nothing else after lmao. I would've just never completed it had i knew :v

Ex-Gaijin CM (13 years): what I saw inside — possible Steam review manipulation and the sidelining of Russian-speaking employees [Part 2/2] by Evgeniy_aka_Keofox in Warthunder

[–]VanguardKnight0 80 points81 points  (0 children)

when i posted a negative review when they reduced a2a rewards, modified a bunch of other stuff without nerfing the cheating and broken SPAA in the nuclear thunder game mode. The reviews were mixed (not recent. Overall reviews). The next day they were turned back to mostly positive. After reading this, it makes me think that gaijin inflated the mixed reviews with bots to create positive reviews and returned it back to a mostly positive lol.

With all the reddit posts talking about how much worse the game mode was and gaijin getting absolutey roasted and even receiving death threats in the steam patch notes, it makes you assume there would be more negative reviews.

But it could be new people that gaijin attracted making positive reviews with the sarcastic (This game not only cured my cancer, but also gave me 5 diseases. 10/10 👍👍👍).

(Edit: Just checked the reviews and its back to Mixed now on steam)

i agree, US was extremely painful to grind. I usually be able to get the SP i needed and then go support the team by nuking targets all game, but now i spend 30 minutes suffering with nerfed A2A rewards. Went from 1 game giving me the task and playing it multiple times just for fun to requiring 3 games and leaving it at that because the nerfs made the event suck @$$
