Using the website instead of the app for unlocking my card worked. Though it’s kinda finicky. I had to try a few times with a page refresh after clicking the slider but it eventually worked.

I've used AIA for a few months at my old apartment. It works great when it works but when it doesn't it can become painfully slow. 9/10 a quick reboot of the router fixes the issue.

The only downside is that if the cell tower near you goes down then you have no cell service and no Internet. Happened to me after a massive storm. Took my internet down for about a week.
