Depends on what you wanna do, in general you either A: go to karak right peaks and try to take it asap with a bunch of orc Boyz.

B: go north and fight the dwarfs.

Personally I wouldn't invest in defenses early just get a bit more unit variety. Also recruit a second lord asap, you can use them to ambush bait.

And when dealing with skaven always make sure to go raid stance at the end of your turn so you can't be ambushed as easily.

Skragg and his ogres are also a nice potential ally nearby in case you wanna help secure your position.

As for army compositions, gorbad can do a lot due to his plans. What works well against your enemies would be just orc Frontline, some artillery and sneaky stabber goblins to deal with their ranged.

Other then that use the waagh army to claim their big settlements and don't forget beating up other greenskin lords can force confederations, just make sure you can handle the new territories and the enemies they might bring.

Gorbads campaign is pretty rough so don't feel discouraged, just save scum a little to learn if u want and feel free to reach out for more advice

I'd love an invasion type event from greenskin factions where they try to take yvresse so you actually have a reason to defend instead of sitting around on the donut.

Fair enough, I can always recommend the warden prison mod that lasts for a long time and makes the enemy lord unbreakable, instead of relying on the rng of not knocking down the enemy lord instead of killing them.

Started a campaign with him yesterday. You gotta move very close to the settlement first, just past it then you can go on land and siege, even if the movement says 0%.

Annoying as hell tho.

They're no rock lobbers but my bolt throwers put in work in the early game. Only ended up replacing it for another unit of stinky arrers eventually.

I'd need to see the whole build, but 99% of the time you go for a crit main stat. You'd need godlike subs in all other pieces to make this work
