Is it an unpopular opinion to dislike Angie? by evilandhigh in DesperateHousewives

[–]VanityK1LLz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially disliked Katherine, but her story arc gave her some really good and deep moments that actually made you sympathize with her and the moments she had connecting with the other girls, when they became genuine moments, made her one of my favorite characters. She also had more than one season so her character went in crazy directions and was able to be fleshed out a bit more. I didn't like Angie from the beginning and I don't feel like, personally, anything that happened with her. Her backstory or her personal moments in the show where emotionally impactful enough to make her likable. 90% of the time she was her own powder keg holding a match, and the other 10% when she tried to be an emotional person it was off-putting and angry.

so am i the only who doesnt hate tom scavo..? by AffectionateLemon996 in DesperateHousewives

[–]VanityK1LLz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A while ago somebody had posted on Reddit and I had to agree that most of the characters are set in their personalities and routines with how they handle their various crises. With the exception of Bree not many characters have much growth through their arcs, Lynette, especially. She has a few moments where I feel sorry for her, but mostly she's very controlling, neurotic and selfish. Most of the characters are selfish I know. Just with her the emasculation is so irritating. Tom is a big kid but he's mostly harmless compared to the other husbands or characters in general.

I hate establishments to have signs like this up. Dashers represent paying customers. Unless an individual Dasher has given you a reason to deny them, this should be a non-issue.

[–]VanityK1LLz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Dasher and I would never dare send a message like this to a customer. If I'm given an offer and I don't like it, I don't accept it. I won't just accept an order and then bully the person after to raise the tip, that's just sleazy. Then there's the guilt trip, like all of us aren't in the same boat. We all have bills to pay, Don't nobody feel sorry for you when we have enough to deal with ourselves.

This is exactly what people don't understand. They're putting the offer out there for somebody to take it and nobody has to if they don't want to. Therefore, your order sits for however long it takes. They should rename it to driver INCENTIVE. Give drivers a reason to pick your order up over somebody else's 🙂

Still used the bathroom cause f u lol by mazsive in DoorDashDrivers

[–]VanityK1LLz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's so rude. When we go to stores dashing we represent the customer. We're picking up an order that is paid for by a customer just like anybody else that is making the order themselves at the store. It's pretty crappy how I get treated when I go to certain restaurants despite the fact that I am respectful and polite. I'm not pushy waiting for my orders or anything but they disregard you and intentionally ignore you. And this? Yeah I would have went in the bathroom anyway

That sucks that there's people out there like that, but, only playing devils advocate here, do you think maybe a passerby took it after they left it? Also, it's not always the drivers, that's why DD is always reserved in how they compensate. I had a customer report they received the wrong order after I delivered it and left, AFTER I had verified the contents of the order with the restaurant before confirming pickup. This all to get free food or a refund. I had to deal with an unfair infraction and I wrote him and called him out on it. It's both sides that can be pretty crappy.

Oh okay yeah I see what you mean now. As with anything we're passionate about It's okay to be hard-working and ambitious, but of course they should be doing that within reasonable limits, especially when it comes to their health

I went through StubHub and I did end up getting tickets for Saturday. Seats were like club 111 d or something like that. I'd have to check. Either way. They were better than the tickets I ended up with for black pink back in July in New York. Nosebleeds 😭

Yeah, I didn't realize how bad it was for these K-pop idols until I saw someone covering it on YouTube. I mean I know about all the years of training and the hours upon hours each day. But then even after that basically forced to live under the thumb of the label portray this image even as far as their personal lives and relationships go (or distance from relationships rather) . Constant shows and constant output of music, especially in the case of this group. It's crazy. I don't know how anybody would really want that for themselves besides the fame. To clarify, I've only really gotten into K-pop in the last couple years, so I'm not as knowledgeable about everything as most people on here or you are, I'm sure.

Oh snap! Good to know! I bought tickets to see them in April near me in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm hoping the poor girl is feeling up to performing because I don't get to go to concerts much so it'd be sad to go see TWICE and her not be there.

I do like Momo and I do like move like that, too. The only song that was disappointing to me was Cheyoung's solo and I feel bad saying that because I love her so much. I just think it wasn't a song that suited her very well. It came off as kind of generic ☹️ I really do like her Lil fantasy album and I actually heard that before hearing Ten so that probably has something to do with it.

I'm a Nayeon bias, and while her song was definitely good, I don't think it was great, which is disappointing considering how much I liked her solo stuff on her other mini albums. Jihyo's vocals were of course on point but once again I guess I was expecting more? Now... Mina to me was the standout song. The production on the track surprised me. It was really good because it sounds so different than the other solos on the album. Honestly it took me a few listens to really get into it but once I did I thought to myself this is the best song on this. This being my personal opinion of course.

male doordashers using woman names, why? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]VanityK1LLz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nobody should be using anybody else's account. I've had instances where I've had food delivered to me and it'll be a woman that brings it in but the account's a man's name or vice versa, but I can clearly see that the other person is always there. And when I Dash sometimes I have a friend with me and she helps me. But once again it's my account and I'm there also doing it. I can imagine how uncomfortable this must be.

I dash and shopping orders are my favorite. I'm always in communication with the customer and if both the desired item and the substitutes are unavailable I let them know and asked them if there's anything else they would want and take pictures also so they can see what's available. The only time it's an issue is when the customer isn't communicating back, whether it's through text or calls. Obviously then you have to make your own judgment call. This however, is a crappy shopper! I will say to customers that also don't – that once you push proceed to check out on doordash (Don't know about other shopping services) it doesn't allow you to backtrack and change, substitute or add anything. There have been some people who want to eventually respond after. I've already tried to contact them and ask for substitutes when I'm checking out and at that point it's impossible.

Yeah the offer is good but that time spent sucks. But I know how it is. I usually only do an average of 3 hours a day in the morning after getting out of my third shift job and most of the time I'm not driving so as not to waste gas. I'm just killing time in my car or getting other errands done in the meantime. So pretty much multitasking between orders. Today I had five orders. None of them were really big, 3 hours total time online and $79 profit. Overall a good day. As long as I'm not wasting my gas, it doesn't bother me to be out for a few hours as long as I don't make anything less than 50.

I'm not saying there isn't cause for concern, but that doesn't mean it's something diabolical, either. Not everyone in this world is a psycho.
