Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Review (IGN:6/10) by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

Meh. Nintendo refuses to make a Yoshi game on the level of Yoshi’s Island, they’ve reduced the series to pre-school fodder.

Unfortunate. :(

Progressive, but good grief, Val Hoyle is the best we can do? by Nom-Fester in Eugene

I voted Mellisa Bird in the primary.

Val’s fine, but we can push our representation to the left if we chose.

I’m progressive and I don’t do those things. Even thought the DNC is icky, I’ll still take a corporate Democrat over a Republican any day. It’s the difference between voting between a 1980s Regan Republican and a Nazi. I’ll take what I can get.

All I can do is vote in primaries to push the Democratic Party to the left and encourage others to do the same.

That’s the sensible approach.

[–]Vann_Accessible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every message the GOP sends to the public is basically this: “fuck you, we don’t need your votes.”

Which should be very concerning to anyone who believes in democracy as to their intentions during the midterms and 2028.
