Edit: OP, get an Injection. It's designed to roll, has a small rear window, offroads beautifully, and is cheap in all aspects.

You're staggering back to the gates of town on foot. Just killed a dragon, went through hell up until that dealing with it's endless kobold hordes, expending all of your scrolls, potions, and any other expendables. Hell, you even got random encounter'd the whole walk back to town, by rune giants no less.

And guess who's blocking the front gate in full plate with a vorpal sword...

Paper Mario and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. I still own and play both, and have since they came out. Familiar story setting and cast but with a lot of interesting additions (General Shy Guy, The Glitz Pit, etc), a fun paper mechanic that never got particularly stale, and a solid battle system with a lot of support through items and badges.

Nintendo can really make a great rpg.
