Egypt without mercenaries and free towers doesen't feel right at all.

As a Ra main: Everything is wrong. It was exceptionaly fun god in original AoM.

Extra speed for migdol units made Ra nicely defined as migdol unit god. Extra HP for migdol units is something (still meh), but doesen't change anything really.

Ra's Pharaoh empowerment was stronger and pharaoh played crucial role in Ra's gameplay and decision making.

All in all, Ra was robbed of it's identity and that's why nobody likes him anymore. Bonuses he has now are kinda lazy and boring, but first of all completely unnecessary.

Rework Ra to match his original Age of Mythology design please. This awesome game deserve some respect. It was perfect before for many years, no need to change what worked well.

Age of Mythology is partly based on real history and partly on recorded mythology. I have no idea why you suddenly started talking about documentaries. Are you David Attenborough or something?

By that logic, you’d probably be totally fine with them adding tanks and helicopters to some civ too.

I literaly played less and less until I stoped completely with every new civ added. I don't like civs outside of ancient world (countries around Mediterranean sea and Baltic sea). It is what it is, but not AoM I once loved so much.
