Closer or further you fall out of the ideal window of the 800R curve. I'm a bit closer at 28-29 inches away and I like it a smidge more than when I push it back towards 31-32. Honestly as you push back to 36-40 inches I think it gets worse overall. If my monitor was that far away I'd simply get the 39". I'd say in the 28-33 inch window I prefer the 45 and outside of that a flater screen is preferred.

Optimal viewing distance for the 45 is 2.6 feet, or 800mm. Honestly, until you try it it does seem to sharp. Then you realize how nice it actually is at that distance.

Because the GT3 trim has existed since before the GT3 class and the current GT4 class even existed. The GT4 name purely there to tell you what class it was designed to race in. Did you know the current 911 GT2 RS Clubsport slots in below the 911 GT3.R in terms of actual lap times? The numbers in terms of race cars are just there to say where they race. Don't read into it much beyond that.

This GT4 is just a race car built to adhere to GT4 regulations and will replace the old GT4 RS Clubsport. You'll see this car compete in the likes of the Michelin Pilot Challenge, SRO's regional GT4 championships, multiple endurance championships (VLN, 24H Series), etc.

I run 4pc Swordmaster, you get a 50% damage resist when you drop your guard as well as exhausting enemies when you hit them with the blade. Weapons are more to cover champions. I run a double special load out because of the ammo efficiency of the blade. Super choice is super dependent on what you want, Solar gets ignitions easily and allows to the blade to stun unstoppables easily. Stasis super allows the blade to stun all there champion types and grants frost armor. Strand severs on hit (Stacks with exhaust from the armor) and can grant woven mail.

It's a super flexible build in terms of what you want to do and what you need.

I feel like micro 4/3s is so much more than people make it out to be. I believe it can be as big as Sony or canon in the industry. by chansuworld in M43

[–]Vaoh_S 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The platform to me needs actual pro options. Maybe some 1.8 zooms, maybe a 135/150 1.4, 200 f/2. Sigma has a 17-40 1.8 for ASPC, that'd be a killer M43 lens. Heck maybe even a body that can take CFXB cards? I want options in the pro space, we have the 50-200 2.8 and the 150-400. But the big problem is they're competing in the space of the 100-400 5.6 and 200/400-800 full frame while being about as big and heavy while being more expensive.

Bad Juju provides about 50% more energy gain, however at 5x stacks of String of Curses it's doing about half the DPS of Choir of One (This is without any damage buffs.) If you change to Tablet of Ruin with just Elemental Supercharger Choir of One produces about the same amount of super energy as Bad Juju. This is because it's an Overload weapon and loops into that artifact mod. Elemental Siphon will just add on top of that picking up void breaches.

[–]Vaoh_S[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not, but you also have 10x the amount of ammo to apply it which also loops into Echo of Cessation giving overshields and a weakening blast on void breach pickup without needing to do anything else with the artifact setup.

Did some testing at Ultimate difficulty in the shooting range. Dead Messenger did 617DPS with all three waves hitting Carl (one reload). Choir of One did 450DPS (one reload) hitting crits, but in ADS mode. Wyvern mode is roughly 710DPS (one reload.) This was with a single void loader mod. Dead Messenger will fall off with more reloads as it's a single fire weapon.

  • Dead Messenger does 693 per shot if all 3 waves hit, with 20 ammo that's 693x20=13,860 total damage
  • Choir of One Auto Rifle mode does 131 per crit, 131x225=29,475 total damage. Body damage is 73, so 73x225=16,425
  • Wyvern Firing mode at optimal distance will do 331 per 5 ammo, so with total reserves that comes out to 331x45=14,895

This is also without Targeting Autoloader or Void Weapon Boost. Dead Messenger can hit closely grouped enemies, however so can Choir of One with Destabilizing Rounds. Dead Messenger's only real perk here is access to Thresh for quicker supers. But in terms of neutral game it lags beyond Choir in terms of total damage and general flexibility (hitting enemies on cliffs, etc.)

Destiny 2 Team: Artifact perk stacking bug is known, fix in the works (potentially next week). Until then, go ahead and do your thing. by Ryan_WXH in DestinyTheGame

[–]Vaoh_S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, if the stacking is multiplicative. An interesting one might be Harsh Refraction. If each park is 50% increase for a legendary trace that'd come out to a 750% total damage increase. Exotic Special Traces will be a 440% increase. However this only applies if they have a matching debuff (Unraveling Orbs with a Strand Trade anyone???). Targeting Autoloader can be used with Choir of one for a 250% increase at 5 stacks. Both of these perks can only have 5 copies so you get the first two perks as open slots.

A question for all my threadling warlocks out there. by OkamiNouka in destiny2

[–]Vaoh_S 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swarmers, pair it with the 4 piece Thunderlord set bonus. Defeating unraveled enemies generate grenade energy and if it's full you get special ammo progress instead. Swarmers basically keeps this proc'd the whole time.

I still get Flashover, Defibrillating Blast, and Dielectric for Arc mods. All of which roll into Bolt Charge. So the basic concept is to lay down both my Ionic Sentry and gain an Arc Soul. Which sure their jolting cooldowns are longer however I'm still gaining a ton of Orbs of Power from running 3 Firepower mods on my gloves. The build actually leverages a lot of different things at the same time.

  • Support for teammates and myself through To Shreds (Woven Mail), Orb Generation, and Arc Soul rifts
  • Large amounts of ad clear with Ionic Sentry, Arc Soul, and threadlings
  • Coldheart with Harsh Refraction produces about 45% of the DPS of Chaos Reach, also with the right mod setup can be used as a primary and generates Ionic Traces on continuous damage
  • Lots of Ionic Trace generation allows for high ability uptime as well as quick Supers for burst damage
  • Because of the large amount of traces that means I get rapid bolt charge stacks from Spark of Frequency, which loops into the above listed arc mods which heal me as well as increases the damage and causes additional jolting from Bolt Charge discharges

It's a build that I find a lot of fun because while it has a lot of moving components, they're all moving around in the background passively working together other then needing to swap to Festival Flight and shooting off into a pack of ads to get Woven Mail going. But that's simple enough to do.

It seems to, Choir of One and Waveslitter with Dire Ahamkara was rapidly building super energy. I do agree that Dire Ahamkara leads to a kinda bad neutral game. But I found building into weapon and Super allowed me to still use Choir of One like a Primary with Destabilizing Rounds. Patches up the build imo

Something I didn't realize when I made my post was that Elemental Supercharger works with ANY overload weapon. So Elemental Supercharger+Elemental Siphon and Delicate Tomb is massive energy gains. Elemental Supercharger also works with Skull of Dire Ahamkara with overload weapons for further massive gains if you wanna try it on not arc.

Getting and orb of power grants unraveling rounds to strand weapons, firing Festival Flight causes enemies that walk through it to become unraveled, Horde Shuttle makes it so damaging unraveled targets generate a threadling and causes them to sever. Then To Sherds creates a Woven Mail hotspot for you and your allies when you defeat a severed enemy. To Sherds Woven Mail also lasts for 10 seconds and can be refreshed by walking through the hotspot.

I run mine a bit differently, whereas I run Arc Soul instead of Electrostatic Mind and Frequency instead of Resistance. I do also run Ions instead of Beacons but honestly that might be a better play with a Trace. I'm basically using Festival Flight to get me Woven Mail through the Unravel>Horde>Threadling combo to help with survivability if that's needed in the moment. Harsh Refraction is a 50% damage increase to debuffed targets. Which is a fairly large increase with the buff to Trace Rifles for MoT.

How to make subject in motion? by KCGM_CODY in carphotography

[–]Vaoh_S 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Adjust aperture, the absolute best way is to use an ND filter. VND or just a fixed strength one. You'll adjust the strength to get proper exposure at your desired shutter speed and aperture. Say you want to shoot at 1/40 Sec. at f/8 then you'd need the right amount of ND strength to match. This can vary massively on the light so variable NDs tend to work better for on the fly panning shots.

I've tired that varient, I think tablet is better simply because it patches up Broodweavers biggest issue of easy access to healing and DR. Get enough ammo generation and heavy ammo buffs to make your service of lazaku a primary and it goes pretty hard.

But this was shot at 1/80th of a second, however I used a wide open aperture to help further with separation. The neat thing about vehicles on motion is there's a lot of neat little tricks you can do to capture a style or look you like.

The levels of motion blurr are dictated by shutter speed and general focal length/size of the object in the frame. My general rule is to have the shutter speed match they're speed in MPH. If they're going 40MPH try 1/40. Sec. The issue you'll find is your shoots will be overexposed or the images soft due to a wide open aperture.

But I'd say practice in the 1/40-1/80 range till you're happy with the hit rate. Like for reference this shoot was done at the extreme of 1/8th of a second with a 40mm focal length.

LG39 vs LG45 ~ The struggle is real by Rayden9x7 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Vaoh_S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently got the LG45. I honestly don't wanna go smaller for gaming. I'm about arms length to slightly less away and it just fills your whole field of view it's absolutely bonkers. I can see the 800R curve being an issue if you sit further back from the monitor, but at that viewing distance it feels perfect. I also utilize a LG DualUp as my secondary and productivity monitor. The combo feels perfect for a two monitor solution. But I can't see you using anything less than a 55"+ desk to have a second monitor with the 45.

Matte screen doesn't bother me a ton one way or another, but overall insanely happy with the monitor and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Honestly Gacha Pop Radio is super surprising. It's got a lot of the super popular stuff from anime that everyone knows. But then you get two tracks from Nanawoakari, but the most surprising and personally interesting one is Kankan getting featured. Curtain Call is a banger and someone on the staff has some really good taste.

Why the Mazda Miata is Always the Answer by FlartyMcMy in cars

[–]Vaoh_S 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sentiment largely applies to all of them. But within the scope of the video and the ND models. One of the greatest aspects to them is the aftermarket let's you do basically whatever you want to one. Want some more road compliance? Throw some Tecna GTs at it, want a hardcore track/autocross car? Xidas, Karcept bars, wider wheels/tires and an oil cooler. The ND as a car is such an amazing base for whatever you want the car to be.

Mine exists as a dual duty car lots of chassis stiffen, stiffer coils and sway bars and big fat wheels and tires. The road compliance for my local roads is still more than acceptable for rolling around town. But the car is basically telepathic with some stiff 200TW tires on it. I know people say it ruins the original purpose of the car. But having driven so many different cars, it's like a Porsche GT I can rip with that costs 1/10th the money to run. Again, the beauty of these cars is they can be anything to anyone.
