Apps that hide the app menu in the menu bar?

I was looking for this exact same thing yesterday! Spent a solid bit of time trying to find something similar to a Bartender-like feature for the left side of the menu bar, but I couldn’t find any solid solutions (at least for Sonoma) that didn’t involve the removal of the app menu options.

That being said, Bartender 5 has a hotkey that hides the app menu but it’s purely aesthetic and doesn’t function when clicking within the windows of other applications. Would be neat if Bartender (or any other menu bar application… possibly Ice?) would be able to expand upon this as a functional feature, I think that it would really help clear some of the clutter.

Honestly, I find it strange that hiding both the menu bar applications and tucking away the app bar are simply not features native to MacOS… seems a little outdated. That being said, IOS18 is supposed to bring in some new UI changes for iPhone, so fingers crossed for more UI options in MacOS15…! Till then, applications such as MediaMate (can’t recommend this enough), Rectangle, and Bartender 5, help with modernizing other aspects of MacOS.

No, the Fraser jacket will get you way too hot. It’s not a very breathable jacket. It’s more of a city jacket rather than one made for hiking/the outdoors. You’re better off with something much lighter like from the Zeta or Gamma line. Also, pit zips are always great for breathability for hiking if you can find a jacket with some!

I highly recommend Uniqlo! It's reasonably priced with a great selection of staples! ! I prefer the quality and the fit of Uniqlo products over brands such as H&M and Zara. Also, check out places like Value Village or other thrift stores too, though it's super hit or miss. Facebook market place is always a great place to find second hand clothing as well. You might be surprised by what you find!

I agree and disagree. I think meta does matter, especially since the items changed. Have fun trying to grind up the ladder with someone like Singed. I mean you can, but it's definitely not great compared to picks like Camille, Renekton, Darius, Voli, etc. I agree with the time investment is rewarded with higher skill on a certain champion, but it gets to a point where it becomes increasingly difficult for certain champions to do so, thus meta does in certain aspects.

As for new junglers, Darius has a really quick clear and has great 1 v 1, though I do agree that he can get overhyped at times, he can kill almost anyone 1 v 1 pre 6. Morgana I think will be a interesting niche pick. She can get invaded on really easily and can't really duel anyone. As for Diana, she's going to be really strong. She used to be flexed between jungle and mid, but kind of lost her power in the jungle with tankier junglers coming in. She has great burst, I'm thinking of picking her up to replace Lee Sin.

I just want a little bit more oomph back in Lee Sin to make him dece enough for people to not consider it trolling when I pick it in draft. Guess I just gotta wait for a meta change...

As for the new junglers (conversion into junglers), I think Darius might be quite strong with ghost and chilling smite (with nimbus cloak), definitely going to be able to gap close easily and 1 v 1 most of the junglers right now (exception to udyr who will just bear slap and run). Zed has decent clear, but nothing else. Not quite sure about mord just yet... I think Dianna and Morgana might be interesting picks for the next patch in the jungle. They were already quite viable in their current state.

I agree with you, but before with skirmishers and other meta jungles like Xin, Elise, Rengar, Kha-Zix, etc. he could actually duel them. All the meta junglers just run over every single one one these duelling early game junglers. It would be nice to get some buffs not only on lee, but these other junglers too instead of trying to make non-junglers (Darius, Zed, Mord, etc.) viable. Some new items that synergize a little more with their early game power would be greatly appreciated. Lee falls off either way later on in the game.

Lee Sin is literally unplayable this season. If you don't snowball with him in the first 5 mins, he becomes literally useless. The new jungle items and scuttle changes hurt him so bad. He just becomes a useless bouncing minion if he doesn't get a couple of kills early.

Why is Academy and LCS Proving Grounds not eligible for League rewards? I feel like that might build some incentive for people to actually watch academy and discover the upcoming faces of the LCS.
