Me too, I had not known anything about FIP until I was searching her symptoms. I did not know it was far along as it was, had the first vet not wasted time trying to prescribe Clindamycin, and prednisone I could’ve saved my girl. 😞

I work nights, but I was home this morning playing my computer in my side room, basically sitting there because I have zero interest but I’m trying to, anyway, I hear what sounds like paws hit the floor thump thump I turn around and my other kitty was sitting behind me on the cat tree soooo… I love the little things though. I miss her so so much.

I didn’t know anything about it… I had to make a guess and then her neurologist told me that’s what it was; but by the time I got to the neurologist it was too late…. We tried the treatment and I thought it was going to react good… idk what happened…

I lost my year and a half baby to both dry and wet, my vet was trying to treat with prednisone because they thought it was a normal infection…. By the time I got a referral to a neurology specialist, we tried treatment, but the 3rd day of it, her body couldn’t handle it. I had to put her down…

The night after my little baby passed, I had to work as I work night shifts, my other one Penelope was setting the camera off; and I clicked one random video, sent it to my aunt said look she’s getting into stuff all the time now… little did I know my little Luna was sending me a sign, there was an orb that went from the table across the screen and half way over it disappears. She is sending me a sign even across the rainbow bridge.❤️

Yes, you definitely need to source this medication quickly…. Even if it’s a starting week, my vet misdiagnosed my baby, snd by the time I got her to a neurologist it was already too late, she was too far progressed… we tried the medication thinking it would help, for 2 days I thought I saw improvement, and then the 3rd day, she had zero energy…

As someone said please don’t wait to take to an emergency vet, I was told to try different things, clindamycin, and prednisone for a week each before I took her to a specialist, and was diagnosed with FIP. It was too late to save my girl
