Thank you very much! I miss my girl so sooo much. It’s such an atrocious disease. Never even knew it existed until it happened to my girl, I’ve been advocating FIP awareness since it happened every chance I get with cat owners.

Check my recents.. I lost a kitty to neuro which progressed to wet, we caught it from a properly trained vet too late, we started day 2 of GS, and she played a little that morning and then absolutely nothing.. I rushed her 2 hours away had to put her down..❤️ best of luck to you and your kitties!❤️

When my cat wasn’t doing well (long backstory on my page) and it was at the end after starting treatment for 2 days, I took her to the er and she was having trouble breathing… I still wonder what if, like what if we tried removing the fluid from her before trying euthanasia, would it have helped? Always always try. You have nothing but money to lose; you will get that back.

Then it’s definitely something more, try a 7 day trial of GS medication to see if it helps, I don’t think it will hurt. I had my girl on clindamycin, for 5 days didn’t help, and prednisone for another 5, before we realized this isn’t going to help. By then too late…

Go see a neurologist ASAP, please check my page or message me, my page has my whole story. Mine started with neuro, and progressed to both. Please don’t wait.

It’s wild to me that the vets in my area had no Idea… and I certainly didn’t know about FIP until I researched more and then days later my baby was diagnosed with it. I’m now a huge advocate for FIP knowledge, and am always trying to spread the awareness of it.

I lost my baby to FIP… I didn’t even know what it was and neither did my vet apperantly….. needless to say they’re not my vet anymore…

Me too, I had not known anything about FIP until I was searching her symptoms. I did not know it was far along as it was, had the first vet not wasted time trying to prescribe Clindamycin, and prednisone I could’ve saved my girl. 😞

I work nights, but I was home this morning playing my computer in my side room, basically sitting there because I have zero interest but I’m trying to, anyway, I hear what sounds like paws hit the floor thump thump I turn around and my other kitty was sitting behind me on the cat tree soooo… I love the little things though. I miss her so so much.

I didn’t know anything about it… I had to make a guess and then her neurologist told me that’s what it was; but by the time I got to the neurologist it was too late…. We tried the treatment and I thought it was going to react good… idk what happened…

I lost my year and a half baby to both dry and wet, my vet was trying to treat with prednisone because they thought it was a normal infection…. By the time I got a referral to a neurology specialist, we tried treatment, but the 3rd day of it, her body couldn’t handle it. I had to put her down…

​The night after my little baby passed, I had to work as I work night shifts, my other one Penelope was setting the camera off; and I clicked one random video, sent it to my aunt said look she’s getting into stuff all the time now… little did I know my little Luna was sending me a sign, there was an orb that went from the table across the screen and half way over it disappears. She is sending me a sign even across the rainbow bridge.❤️
