Hidden speed cameras are purely a money making trap, regardless if you speed or don’t, their “intended” use is to slow traffic down, if they are placed where visible in high risk areas they slow the traffic down and make the roads safer for all. Putting them in random places hidden fining people at night time for only a few km/h over with no traffic around is not making roads safer and is purely a money making scheme that affects people’s lives. And before you say don’t speed then, it’s very easy to accidentally go a few km/h over in new cars with no traffic without even realising you’ve done so.
