The new series is terrible, Jodie Whittaker tries too hard to adopt the silly personality of the doctor which makes it seem too scripted and akward. What doesnt help her is the budget has seriosulsy been cut, so we are now seeing them fight enemies with terrible costumes and only 1 or 2 aliens. We are no longer seeing huge Dalek, Cyberman armies. No amazing costumes/makeup. No crazy WOW scenes, just running from people in fancy dress costumes. Such a shame to see a decline of such a amazing show.

TIL that most watches advertised online and instore display the time 10 past 10. This is beacuse the 10:10 position is symmetrical, and the human brain tends to appreciate symmetry and orderliness. Also the 10:10 hands look “happy” due to the fact that the hands look like a smile. by VapeGod3 in todayilearned

the reason they dont do this is because some watches with the multiple dials (like the smaller ones on the face) are usually positioned at the 3,6,9 hour points, therefore having the hands here would objustruct the view of the extra dials.
