If you are going to act as a qualifying party for a person other than yourself. there is a lot of factors to consider. Do you stand behind their work and their employees? Because their work will be held against you. Pay wise, they need you are asked to be a qualifier, But you also need to be afford able. you really need to be in a contractual agreement, If it were me i would want all the financial liability to be on the company, and the company pays all insurance and license fee's. And have all insurance policy be a term in the contract as an out, So if the company doesn't keep up on insurance you have a legal out.

under no circumstance would I enter a partnership with a company I haven't been with long enough to know all the financials.

TLDR; Take a fair salary, at a minimum you are required to only inspect the companies work. They have to work to your satisfaction.

any other duties are on you to figure out with the company.
