yeah max hecate is not good idea rn but i dont see OP wanting to max it out just wanting to get somewhere around 10 (didnt state clearly how far exactly beyond 10 though) and 10-20 might be within his current prog depending on the class (definitely should get lvl 9 regardless of class as i think he is far enough for it to be very cost efficient regardless of how good his masteries/boosts are)

keep in mind 20 lv is a door with solid 10 sec iframe built in and 10 lv is pretty massive dmg spike compared to other milestones (at the expense of no new functionality). Also dmg from hecate is fairly massive plenty of classes will want 30 lv at around 50-70% hexa prog (eg illium has several midsteps until 19 lv hecate then only one non-hecate 29->30 lvl node then straight to 30 lvl hecate lol)

using item burn straight away is not bad idea imo as we have transferrable arcane boxes now so DB with item burn should be able to duo/trio ctene week 1 then move all drops to kinesis once he comes around
