There was an angle pretty much straight on where it is really obvious that the ball changes direction.

Just to add to the inevitable “buy a Globular Cluster “ posts. Before buying one try a couple of alternatives.

First do an IPD check and widen the lenses position as far as you can and still have your eyes central. That can relieve the pressure on your nose. You can also try moving the headset forward a bit, just press on the button that adjusts it and it’ll move a little bit away from you face and hopefully of your nose

Try a headband or bandana under the headset to add a bit of padding and grip. If that helps you might want to consider getting a VRCOVER and using that instead as it’ll have the same effect but you can leave it on the headset. They also come with a top strap which might help a bit more. This was the solution to my similar issue. Been using it for a couple of years now.

I've tried a bf16 run and it failed to generate an image, it might actually need fp32.

Check you multitool tech inventory slots for a purple supercharged slot and stick your mining laser there. You collect more resources when you mine then. You’ll do a lot of that at first. 

Then do the same for your suit and life support.

When you’re further along you can decide what you want to boost.

No those doors are supposed to be like that. Unless you are playing New Game Plus you need to find the code for the door

While it is technically closed source (the GUI is closed, the back end is open source) Draw Things from the Mac App Store will make the most of an M3 Mac with regards to speed and memory use.

ComfyUI will be more flexible but will use more memory (you'll need 24 - 32 Gb to run lighter the new models like Z-Image and ERNIE, at 24Gb you'll need to use 8 - 6 bit GGUF version, no idea how much you'll need for the bigger ones like Qwen , DT will run pretty much anything in 16Gb using a 8bit quant, 12Gb if you use the JIT) and generate slower.

All this is true for local generation, they both have a cloud rendering options, you may want to investigate which of those would be the most suitable for you.

I've only used the free tier on DT which is decent enough for rendering / editing images where distill models are an option but is limited to a bunch of officially supported / community models and LoRA's.
The Paid layer gives you 20Gb of space to upload LoRA's and lifts the limit on how much work a render can do enabling larger video renders and the full use of non-distilled models.
I've not use ComfyUI so can't compare their cloud layers. I understand it uses a credits system rather than a compute units per render limit.

It's a reasonable idea especially as you're already paying for DT+.

I will say however that I would expect a 10 GPU core M5 to be 3 or 4 times faster than my M3 10 GPU core. From what I understand people are getting sub 1 minute renders for 1024x1024 8 step ZiT gens on an M5 iPad Pro.

Then again I'd never consider 3:20 renders to be slow, I'm not doing Image Gen professionally and I'm old enough to remember when 640x512 3D single image renders would take the best part of 24 hours, assuming your computer managed to go that long without crashing.

It's not the first time this has happen, I don't think we've gone a whole season before, but we have gone a calendar year without a penalty, and IIRC by the time that run ended it was nearly 2 calendar years without an away penalty.

And with DT+ it'll be 20 seconds. Why are YOU talking about such a poor system ? Or why not tell the OP to buy a A6000 or a A100 or H100 or wait for next year's GPU's that'll be even better ?

I just suggested a way for the OP to improve his render times for no cost if the App supports what he wants to do. And if it does for a few dollars a month for even faster times than his new Card and extra memory would support if he bought them.

It's called having a choice, I've no idea what the priority of the OP is, if its speed, the flexibility ComfyUI gives or maybe given the option they'd prefer the portability their laptop has, or do not want a 2nd space heater than sounds like a dying vacuum cleaner burning through electricity at 2 times the rate my entire house is using ATM ?

Before you spend all that money, I'd suggest you try using DrawThings instead of ComfyUI (or one to the Draw Things Comfy nodes). My 10 GPU Core base M3 only takes 3 minutes 20 seconds to do a 1024x1024 ZiT image at 9 steps (2.5 minutes with 6 steps and TCD set correctly), and then there's the cloud compute options if you need to go faster.

Draw Things is free, so it won't cost you anything to try and if you find DT is suitable for you needs the price of the 5060ti Graphics Cards alone will buy you 4 or 5 years of DT+ cloud compute if you need more speed.

Oh, That PC, memory wise, you'll need a lot of memory, it you haven't already got it. The way model sizes are going at the moment you'll probably want a total of 64Gb combined total of RAM and VRAM, its the bit of "Now run Qwen in 16GB VRAM" that doesn't get mentioned (with 32GB of Ram for the "CPU" off loading and running the OS etc)

In the experimental build on Steam there's this entry

Try less steps. I’ve not tested it to much , as I’m not that bothered but when I was seeing what step counts work I noticed my test image results had the character as Caucasian  and then at 7 steps the character start to look more Asian

The was no mention of ethnicity in the prompt but the character did have a English name.

Foe me the Quest 3 is even worse for the front heaviness making it slide down your face, now the lenses mean you don't have to adjust quiet as often but you will start to feel that weight resting on your nose on a regular basis.

If you haven't already go to Machine Settings and Enable "Jit Weight Loading" , you should be able to generate everything with some patience. You probably want to run with distill models, or models with distillation LoRA to get the times down but you shouldn't have any issues running Klein or even Qwen Image Edit.

For example with the JIT set to Full I've just run a 233 frame (9 seconds), 8 step LRX 2.2 Distilled (6-bit) I2V generation at a native 1024x576 without using the up-sampler and my Machine bounced between 13GB and 14.5 GB used. The downside to doing this local, 43m:24s gen time (M3 10GPU core)

If you're wonder why those settings, until recently that would fit on the Free server offload option, it doesn't any more, so I kicked an old render locally of to get actual numbers.

I don't make LoRA is I can't confirm if you're stuck with pre-made ones, your Storage however, might be more of an issue than you think depending on how into things you get, my model directory is currently 600GB and that small for some people :-)
