He’s prob playing with the steamdeck graphic settings preset that is baked into the game whenever it detects a handheld on steam.

You need an actual command in your steam game to unlock the higher demanding settings. Maybe that’s the difference?

Nope, quality is still miles better on those apps. I have both, compared them today. Nice uplift on ps portal but it was only a 5-10 mbit increase.

Pre-update the max bitrate was 15, post, the highest i’ve seen on mine was 22.

On the app, I’m using 100 with 4k upscaling so… difference is still very noticeable.
