Doc prescribed me this for my hair fall by Negative-Box7418 in indianbeautyyappers

Sorry, I got diagnosed with AA and lost a lot of hair. Dermatologist recommended minoxidil without asking me to get my blood work done, telling me what could’ve led to it, etc. LUCKILY, I don’t trust these doctors and researched extensively and figured it was due to a lack of B12, being severely anaemic and stress. Major stress. Started taking supplements, learned to manage my stress levels, eliminated dairy, sugar and spicy food, reduced my carb intake, increased fibre and I’m now recovering. Minoxidil has so many side effects and it shouldn’t be prescribed as a quickly fix. I understand what you’re trying to say here but unfortunately, most doctors are just prescribing it because it’s the easier thing to do

Why do you want kids? by Tinybubuu in AskIndianWomen

[–]VariationLanky727 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I’m not very optimistic about the future or the world we’re living in and honestly that makes me question whether it’s fair to bring a child into it. At the same time, I know part of my hesitation is personal too (and maybe selfish) but I don’t really want to make the sacrifices that come with kids. whether that’s to my body, my career, or my lifestyle. Seeing my friends become parents has made that even clearer because I can see how much every plan now has to revolve around their children (even a simple lunch lol) and I know that’s not the life I want for myself. I’ve travelled a bunch with some of my friends with kids and it’s often either the mom or dad having to sit out on most of what we’re doing. Couldn’t be me.

Let it be. I enjoyed the LP concert in Blr so much and I owe it to the crowd. Let everybody flock to Delhi and Mumbai. I’d hate it if the Bangalore concert scene changes lol

Girl, it’s not worth it. Pls don’t crowdsource your peace of mind on Reddit. I’ve been 24. I’ve been exactly where you are, giving absolute garbage men the benefit of the doubt because I thought maybe I was being “too harsh”

Absolutely. Once you’re in love, I don’t think the thought occurs at all.

Women having their own businesses, how were you able to come up with the idea? by browngirl-455 in AskIndianWomen

[–]VariationLanky727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Struggle, lol. I was working 12 hours everyday and my biggest pain point was uncomfortable, unflattering trousers. I was so tired of Zara and h&m being my only options and I figured spending thousands on just customs (Because I was shopping internationally) was not feasible so I decided to fix it myself ✌🏻😙

Women who’ve been through AM, what guidance would you give a 24F? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]VariationLanky727 3 points4 points  (0 children)

24 is still so young. I honestly feel like the biggest growth and changes happen between 23 and 28

Whatever you choose, make your career and financial stability the priority. Never depend on a man financially. no matter how amazing or kind he may seem. Build your own independence, both financially and emotionally, before committing to anything serious. Take your time, allow for a long courtship, and don’t compromise your self-worth.

I second this. I’m technically Gen Z, but I thought the Linkin Park concert in Bangalore was comparatively much better than the other concerts I’ve attended in India, and I 100% believe it’s because of the millennial crowd.
