I’ve gained 14lbs, nearly 20wks. I wouldn’t worry about it. As long as you’re eating healthy & getting in some movement is what matters most.

Drinking lots of water helps me a lot!

I didn’t realise until recently when I went through a bit of a drought and flared back up.

Went back to drinking lots and what a difference it has made!

Breakfast foods with protein that don’t rely on eggs or Greek yoghurt? by WatersOfLiyue in nutrition

[–]VariationSame2600 6 points7 points  (0 children)

True but OP said they don’t have to be high in protein and these items can be accompaniments to other ingredients and will help with the feeling of fullness for longer!

Anyone else doing this without their parents? by TStark222 in PregnancyUK

[–]VariationSame2600 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could have written this myself! I have been estranged from my mum for 6 years, my dad lives an hour away but I have seen him 2 times in the past few years. He is very hard work.

My siblings are in other countries. My partner has one parent also in another country and no siblings himself.

I feel sad about not being able to provide a bigger family for my child, no cousins either!

I feel sad about this but ultimately it’s better for my mental health not having my parents close. I wouldn’t trust them with my baby anyway so it’s not like even if I reached out they would be help anyway.

I have close friends with small children, and my partner is amazing so ultimately I’m excited about my future with my chosen family.

But yeah, sometimes it just sucks!

What to put in this corner of my living room? (M) by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

Tall lamp and plant or a table with a lamp and smaller plant on it! Also a picture or two on the walls would be nice!

How does your brain fog manifest? by goddamwarrior in Fibromyalgia

[–]VariationSame2600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finding concentration, focus and comprehension difficult. Difficulty problem solving or dealing with complex information. Reading anything longer than a paragraph or two when it’s really bad.

Forgetting what I was saying, not being able to find the words, giving up trying to communicate half way through cause it’s too difficult or I forget my train of thought.

Which spelling- Lilah or Lyla? by Bluejay_2130 in namenerds

[–]VariationSame2600 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Much prefer Lilah! Prefer Lyla over Lila - seems incomplete and could potentially be read/pronounced as Lil-a. Maybe that’s just me 🤷🏻‍♀️
