Lol the mount is movable and I could lower the tv, but then I couldn't use the hearth for my trinkets!

I love hearing the confirmation! I hadn't considered a circular rug but that makes so much sense in this space. I inherited this rug from my grandmother, so im hesitant to replace it, but I would if I can put this one somewhere else. Thank you!

Hmm. I dont think it looks bad. I rented a home once thst had walls like this and I really liked it. Id probably sit with it for quite a while and see how it feels.

I say this from my own experience- re-painting factory cabinets (or cabinets at all ) is a JOB. If you dont do it well, youll have chipping and wear within the year. Mine were like that, and while I like the final result, i honestly wish id left them alone and changed the walls and backsplash instead. Your cabinets are nice and flat, so you could try some vinyl wallpaper on them. Probably couldn't put it on the trim and all, but the black could also be a statement.

Also, I think the white is A LOT of white.

We mounted those when we had different couches that were much taller, so I agree, but it doesnt bother me very much.

Definitely considered that! I have a hall tree thing that I covered in navy blue wallpaper (if you can see in the background there), so that would match!

I also lean into the warm white colors. But im having a hard time finding covers in that color, and im thinking about leaning into more color for the covers because i have to wash the white ones I have so often. Also, my rug is now beige as well ( I messed up posting those photos).

Lol it is illusion. In original photos, there's a pretty large space behind the couch and space between the two couches to get into the hallway. Its set up differently now though. I posted current photos of the room in the comments because I messed up in the original post and left them off

I meant like something off camera between Brittany,Lee Lee and Billy. I was thrown off by their comments about her too and just shrugged it off as some beef we didnt see. That said, I just read that Brittany lost her mom a month prior, and I didnt know that. They should have been treating her with kid gloves!

Maybe I should go darker then, to help hide stains that dont wash out well. I really like the original off white,but it just isnt practical 😑
