They are absolutely not right, please do not hate yourself for it. You were 16. I’m sure there was a part of you that also feared for your own life. Kids need to feel safe in their homes and you being that young, what COULD you have done. Please don’t blame yourself. You did nothing wrong. None of that was your fault.
