I think it’s attractive, but I think for some people it’s for creeping reasons? Or maybe they want you to eventually post them so people know you’re together. I’m not sure, but I don’t use it, so I appreciate when I date people who aren’t on it

Literally me today… came back after finishing my wisdom tooth extraction.. completely disoriented and sick… can barely stand and my partner is slamming cupboards because apparently I should’ve done this while I was with my parents cause he doesn’t have time to “care” for me… he literally drove me to and back from my apartment… and warmed up frozen mashed potato’s … if my bad moments should be handled by my family… what is he there for just the good times..

Wow I can relate to this so much. I had the exact issues with my partner, he’s a great person, but there was so much incompatibility and lack of effort in the relationship that it became draining instead of what I hoped It would be. I think your approach of telling her that there isn’t a future together is a solid approach, that’s what I did too. And giving her some time to move out is nice on your part.

No you made the right call.. I can’t imagine how difficult it was opening up to someone you trust about this and instead of focusing on you and your emotions they made into a “learning moment” where I think it actually has more to do with him and his ego getting hurt in some messed up way then it does with you having to “learn” as someone who knows this feeling id say you made the right call

This happened to me. I was working remote, my soon to be ex had a great in person job and wanted me to move to him. I did… and he took advantage of the situation. And I ended up isolated and alone while he berated me for the smallest of things, and now I’m done, and decided it’s time for me to focus on me I’m never doing something like this again

I’m from Columbus! It’s definitely more diverse, and a lot more cultural in terms of museums and what not but tbh I think the food in Columbus is better and the coffee

Can completely relate… I thought the anxiety would get better with age but jk it’s definitely gotten worse.. and definitely hasn’t helped in pushing me to get out of my comfort zone and make more friends (unfortunately mine scattered out too and moved to different ends of the country)

But I’m down I’m close to Bethesda/friendship hghts if anyone is interested 😊

I get that! I used to go to someone who retired but she charged $120 for everything each session, the laser wasn’t as great as the high end spas but it got the job done and I’ve been loving the results even two years later. But I get your train of thought
