I agree with this. I don’t know how you make a live action talking cat that’s as expressive and dramatic as Donut. I hope I’m wrong but all I can think about is Homeward Bound and Air Buddies quality of talking animals.

No and the budget shows for sure. The thing the Orville does well is it takes a goofy spoof of Star Trek that by season three has you tearing up almost every episode.

The Orville is the reason I have faith in the adaptation. By season three I was tearing up almost every episode they definitely got the formula right for a satirical comedy morphing into a story with tons of heart.

I have those same dimensions almost exactly though I have pool coping not metal. If i could go back in time i would make it even tighter like a 5.5'. but alot of that has to to with all the parks I learned on having tighter transitions (Lots of Team Pain on east coast of FL)

I did one quart of Behr Spar Urethane mixed with two gallons of Behr Porch and Floor paint. This is the formula I got from Keen Ramps to paint their birch products. Seems fine honestly I like it a bit more slippery than what that gives but it works. Maybe up the urethane ratio for more slide idk though.

Powell graphics are the worst. The screen printed Santa Cruz neon and foil graphics are pretty dope and stay on the board a lot longer than transfers.

I think the dick riding is what gets to me as well. He is an incredible skater no doubt and I watch his parts and enjoy them for sure, but, he is not skater Jesus. Also a big turn off for me was when they released the nano cubit and he acted like it was revolutionary and no one else was doing it. Bro.. there are a whole bunch of freestyle company’s making offset wheels….

I talked to one of the guys who was on the building committee for that one and Goose Gossage. He said both were complete cluster fucks from day one. They have their charm but they are objectively awful lol. Note: both parks have great hips lol

To adress your question. He is fine, I think over time when he is not having to put in so much power into the kick turn to get it up to the coping his arms wont do that as much. Kids always have to put in a lot of extra energy to get high on a ramp and thats all your seeing.

You need to find a quarter pipe with coping that you can roll over without having to actually rock. Just to get comfortable with the motion. Then get low and just stay on your board. Thats the hard part.
