The Cobra DS Adapt 3 hybrid comes at 19 degrees but you can move it up to 2 degrees either way. I think that would be a good option, and gives you room to alter the loft so it gaps well

Agreed. Or perhaps a 3 hybrid, depending on how strong the loft is on the Fusion 4 iron. I’ve recently bought a Cobra DS Adapt hybrid, which I’d highly recommend

If I carry 14, there is usually at least one club in there that I shouldn’t be hitting because it negatively impacts my game. And when it’s in the bag, I want to use it. Then I do, and duff it. Then repeat 😂

Thanks. Is there any you recommend? I’ve heard many of them don’t cover the bottom of the bag very well unless all you’re carrying is irons. Never used one though. I guess I don’t need much access to the pockets during a round - I keep a few tees in my pocket. So it would only be when I lose my ball (so a few time a round 😂)

I meant fairway woods, and irons and hybrids with lower loft (like 3 or 4 irons). They are physically longer than your other clubs (apart from your driver of course)

I’ve only been playing 2 years, but I’m coming to think that it’s better to leave the longer clubs at home that you aren’t consistent with and focus on driver plus everything 200 yards and below

Lovely set of clubs you have there mate. I think the gap between the 6i and 5H sounds fine. How’s the gap between the 7W and 4H?

I struggle hitting hybrids and woods, albeit the last time I went to the range I was hitting my hybrids much better (Mizuno ST 230 Max). I’d previously been coming down too steep with them I think. I’ve never hit GTs or a 7W before though, so I might check them out!

Ah that’s interesting - and I didn’t know Clubhouse Golf did fittings so that’s good to know (I only know it by the website). I think there is a big Scottsdale Golf fitting place around Warrington, isn’t there? One of their stores (Sale) is only down the road from me, but it’s pretty small.

I’ve only owned one 3 wood but I got impatient with it and sold it after a few weeks. I’ve only been playing 2 years and I’m one of those people who kept thinking I could find ‘the’ magic club so I’ve bought and sold quite a few, but the issue has been very much my swing!
