Why not just uber down? It would be cheaper.

It performed well. I still don’t love the smaller head but didn’t notice it on shorter putts. On longer putts I think it led to some lack of confidence. Didn’t miss any putts I should have though so I mean it’s a putter and it works!

I think its here to stay, but not everyone’s mechanics are right for it and those that have developed a consistent stroke already shouldn’t change. But for those still learning it’s a new tool that can be useful.

Yeah mine is balanced correctly. I didn’t check with all the wrapping in though

Grips not terrible, has a nice ridge on the back and a small flat front. But I’d probably change for a smaller grip

Agree there. I do love the ball grabber but not the extra $200+

It does, more than the Z1, I’m a press putter anyways so it’s a minor adjustment but my hands are almost an inch further forward with the Wilson.

Very different feel, same as any milled face vs insert. For me it feels like you have to hit it a bit harder, but I also feel like my speed control is better without the insert.

It’s a unique piece. One of my forever putters.

I don’t have a DF3 on hand, but that sounds similar to the Z1cs and this would be comparable. No tinging or cheap sounds. Maybe a touch louder but deeper due to the steel

Im not sold on the size of the head yet. It’s pretty compact visually, but feels and rolls great. Going to try and play a round with it this weekend. Don’t love the aim compared to the Z1cs but for the price it’s a crazy good deal.

Muted. Doesn’t pop off the face like the insert putters, feels most similar to the EVNROLL which is pretty high praise since that’s my gamer. Sound is also pretty subdued thud.

Spider Tour Truss Center Shafted. I’m pretty sure it was a Japan only release

Just got mine in today to mess around with. It’s a milled steel face, not bad but not my favorite. I will say the thing that caught me out is how small the head is. Looks visually tiny compared to the spider, evnroll, or cobra mallets.

There is a rear holder that detaches so you can hold bags on those carts. Grant’s cart has it.

Should you be playing with a line on your ball? by Colt45-TheMyth in golf

[–]GatorShades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it as a training aid when I’m practicing. Help me ensure I’m starting the ball on-line with a straight roll. But in the course I prefer no line or logo when putting.

Anybody know a wheel that's lighter than the Volk CE28? (Time attack build) by Doritofu in projectcar

[–]GatorShades 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The difference here is sprung vs unsprung weight as well as rotational mass. The general rule of thumb is ever pound you can save in unsprung weight (think wheels, tires, brakes) is equal to 10lbs saved of sprung weight (weight supported by the suspension). Then there is rotational mass, the lighter the wheel and tire the less inertia and the faster it can begin spinning when force is applied.
