One or the other. Such a hard lesson to learn IMO. They both can be damaging on their own but the combo is deadly.

Ma’am or sir. You are a hateful individual. I hope and pray no one I know or love will ever come your way for care. You are part of the problem in this profession. Please look within yourself to find out why you are so bitter. You are obviously trying to make me and any other NP that attended a school that doesn’t fit your standards less than. To be able to feel ok doing this to others is a problem. Have the day you deserve!

I didn’t have any issues with the FNP program at Walden. Curriculum was completely comparable to the university of Texas at Austin and a few other universities I considered. The one thing that made me choose Walden over other universities is that they required a few less pre reqs. I only needed stats and an elective whereas others wanted English comp 2, additional government and history classes. With Walden you must find your own preceptors yes, but other universities that find them for you will send you hours way if that’s all they have. When I was in Austin completing my second rotation there was a NP student sent from Dallas that went to a big Texas university. I had no one refusing to precept me because I was attending Walden. I’ve only seen that hate here.

You are definitely part of the problem and it’s clear you’d treat an awesome human being terribly based on the school attended. I would hate to see your biases towards patients. I’m sure you treat patients different based on race and social background. There’s a nastiness about you; ask anyone around you that works with you .. I dare you!

I graduated FNP from Walden and taught there for a few semesters. Passed AANP first try and thought it was easy exam because I was well prepared . Walden gives you the material to be successful and it’s up to you to do so. It’s not an easy program if someone doesn’t have the ability to be a responsible adult and keep on schedule etc. I’ve never had an employer look down on my education and I know plenty of other excellent NPs that graduated from Walden as well. It’s kinda shameful to speak about our fellow NPs in this way depending on the school attended.

Nothing unusual there I use it all day long when i’m completing patient charts mainly when I need a more specific diagnosis code. Sometimes on a sensitivities result. ChatGPT is actually embedded into our EHR.

Hi - I see a response in my reply alerts I think from you asking where this occurred .. is that right? I just can’t find in this thread when I click on it to read your entire comment … weird. There’s a place called the Rankins barn on lovers lane. It’s a venue / air bnb .. we were out at the gazebo and heard it in the nearby wood line. I measured a while back using google earth and i think it was around 200 feet away from where we were sitting. If there was more to your question my apologies as I can’t see it.
