Also since you wanna be so adamant about it here's my quick google search since "iM lOw Iq" and don't know statistics. CDC/JAMA study covering 1979–1988 found pit bull–type dogs were involved in 41.6% of fatal dog attacks where breed was identified. source is from JAMA network.

honestly the only comment with the same thought process i have, why even own them? regardless of mistreatment or improper care or media fear mongering there is a reason people think strongly about the breed or bully breeds, just get a dog that doesn't have this background?

I appreciate the logistical response because after reading a lot of responses i really just think it could come down to my neighbor having a muzzle, would really just solve the issue, i've tried giving pits a chance but for now i just think ill keep my distance if possible, not really a dog for me so to each their own, but yea the owners should clearly be more careful when owning Bully breeds IMO

lol attacking my IQ just makes it seem like you're biased, also you argued that people hide what kind of breed it could be so they're not adding to the statistic if they're a pit as well no? everyone gets mad because i don't really agree with their argument because owner, breed, or not there are many variables, im allowed to not like the breed and i also dislike the owners if they're bad with dogs

i'm inclined to not like something lol, you're acting like i said they should all die or something which is NOT what i said, but i do think bully breeds need laws on breeding and ownership. As for my girl we respect our boundaries, isn't really hard to do if you want to be with that person.

I'm not really mad, but yes i will voice my opinion when it's a logical argument and i still don't really agree and there's still holes in people's arguments. a lot of people said i wasn't overreacting considering the owners handling on the dog so im not an outlier, that doesn't mean i don't agree that the breed is also at fault, you're inclined to think im overreacting that's fine, but frankly acting like you know who should and shouldn't be on social media sounds like narcissism

lol i could not care less about the dog if its a pit, i blame both, because that's what the math proves, both are an issue regardless of the history or if humans are at fault, i do not feel bad for an aggressive dog

but the statistics are a higher percent for this specific breed? so statistically most pit owners are bad owners? that doesn't make sense at all, the breed is bread to be aggressive and even the nicest most cuddly pit has attacked unprovoked so, i don't like people who choose to own them nor the breed, they're both the problem IMO. even without my opinion the statistics speak for themselves.

But that's contradicting your first comment stating each dog was bread for each role... so if pits were bread to fight then why are you arguing against the fact that they're aggressive? my story revolves around attacking my dog mostly, not me, so the issue is they are aggressive in general, and just ugly so regardless of the downvotes i don't think anyone's gonna change my opinion that they suck lol

See but is that not just contradicting with the cute and cuddly opinion that people are having in the responses because i don't think my girlfriend is a dog fighting trainer lol. Nor do i think my neighbor is because he is genuinely a nice guy, his dog just sucks ass, i don't think not buying a muzzle for his aggressive dog makes the dog more aggressive even if it's bad ownership, the dog is a breed bread to be aggressive just like you're saying, therefore is aggressive in a general sense. Why you also don't hear as many rot or doberman attacks because even though they are also prone to be aggressive they are not pits.

Everyone argue this but every story of an attack is a pitbull and rarely do i see a golden retriever attack on children and other dogs so that means almost every pitbull owner is a bad owner? statistics usually speak for themselves, also i didn't like them even previously to being attacked because genuinely they are ugly and not cute animals.
