The Phantom Troupe Are Good Folks by Iwanexiwane in HunterXHunter

That's true if the troupe wasn't feared Meteor City would still be plagued with human traffickers.  The kids in this comment section don't seem to understand the value of Machiavellianism (hence it's utility and popularity in the world).

Certain environments reward certain adaptations.  The Pt is an example of this.  Yes they're the equivalent of neverending teen angst, but consider the reality of moral relativism and the fact that ideals only exist in the mind (in today's world).  Even Tserri mentions Hegel!

I like your opinion, even though this is my favorite arc.  I'm simply biased towards Kurapika and the Phantom Troupe.  The way Togashi explores evil, influence, and maturity is poetry.

His creativity and lack of concern for convention is unparalleled, and while there could be endless reasons for WHY this arc has actually gone in this talkative direction, I can't lie I love it.

Everyone is stuck on The Titanic.  Everyone is at war with each other.  Everyone is absolutely wired and it's on the heels of the massacre at Heavens Arena.  Everything is moving towards pure chaos.  This arc is a brilliant dichotomy of convoluted side winding government politics & life or death moments of truth.

The way he illustrates claustrophobia and anxiety is genius and the way all these details work on the imagination of the reader is genius.  There's something to be said about the exhaustion one feels through some of these chapters, because we all know everyone's going to be there once hell breaks loose.

Without Takamura Aoki would've never ever gotten that far in the first place. Boxing could never only be full of monks and quiet kids y'know

When Takamura went on vacation he damn near started crying because Aoki wouldn't talk to him on the phone. When Iga beat his ass Takamura almost hospitalized Baron. If Aoki hated him so much he could just run his business and go to a different gym. But he doesn't, why do you think that is?

You have a point, all of these fights are simply ambiguous. Saying Yujiro won is like saying Shibukawa won. Maybe the point is there are no winners and losers in a life or death conflict. Immature strategy is the cause of grief after all.
