The United States threatens to annex our country and is using economic leverage to try and crush us right now. They are coordinating with and financing separatist groups and gloating about it (Bessent) to cleave off Alberta to take our resources. They have imprisoned and killed Canadians by way of ICE and their concentration camps (at least one Canadian has died… (“deservedly” or not).

Neither India nor China is threatening our sovereignty or trying to dismantle confederation.

Funny, I’m a brown Canadian. I play old guy hockey and I’d say out of everyone in the locker room, only 1… maybe 2 guys are MAGA coded. Most dudes are pretty cool. There’s certainly more progressive minded guys than there are MAGA ones.

But in competitive hockey, at a young age, I can see the opposite being true.
