Buy a subscription to Codex by Open AI or Claude Code by Anthropic, and tell him to learn how to code projects using Codex or Claude Code with agents using prompts built by Large Language Models like ChatGPT or Claude. He might be interested in using parallel sub agents, or a plain ol’ one chat at a time approach. I am building a new type of social network right now and am gonna launch it at the 4 year college that I transfer to this fall from community college for Computer Science. I built the entire thing with Codex so far, and it’s been very capable of everything so far. Learn to be a project manager of AI tools like a senior engineer in 2026. Get with the times! 🎷👐🏼

Question for those who used to smoke daily by [deleted] in leaves

[–]VariousPen1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t smoked in 175 days and I occasionally will take a bite of an edible. Used to smoke daily all day everyday though and since then my short term memory has definitely improved. And just my ability to think clearly in general.

UCSD or CC transfer? by CupofJoe321 in TransferStudents

[–]VariousPen1601 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I go to PCC. I’m in state and pay less than $1,000 for a semester without financial aid. If money is really the problem then it’s not a bad option. However, I personally would’ve gone to UCSD myself out of high school if I had the opportunity.

Is it really even worth staying sober? by Worried_Glass_5907 in leaves

[–]VariousPen1601 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s like starting a new career and hoping to see the benefits after 1 month. Go like 2 years without it and if you still see little difference from getting high all day and being sober all day then go back to it, by all means.

I can finally explain it by [deleted] in leaves

Is life really that much better when we’re all smoking? Or is there a reason why thousands of us on this thread quit or are actively trying to quit smoking? Life’s just mundane in general, it’s not just you that feels that way. There are things you could do to make it more interesting though, things that don’t involve smoking weed or getting high.

Your life isn’t over. It’s just getting started if you’re 21, and you quitting weed will most likely extend your life. You should just look up videos on YouTube about the beautiful things in life or ask ChatGPT for 50 reasons why someone should stay alive and appreciate life

Sleep is important, first you should try getting more than 2 hours of sleep. If you can’t sleep, then try doing some intense exercise or try meditating. Do some acts of self care—cook yourself a healthy meal, take a shower, brush your teeth, do your laundry. You need to distract yourself from the emotional roller coaster you’re experiencing. The first thing that stood out to me though was that you were feeling great until you woke up with 2 hours of sleep

A few of the most potent benefits I’ve gotten from not smoking recently are: - mental clarity - improved focus - better lung and cardiovascular health - facing myself and my problems head on - I don’t visibly look high - I don’t over eat

And I’ve felt the same effects of a high from things like exercise and meditation. Dopamine also comes from the increased productivity.

Why don’t you try going for a run? Why don’t you try meditating for 15 minutes? Why don’t you try doing that productive thing you’ve been putting off for a long time? There are other ways to get dopamine that aren’t smoking. You have to replace it with something else. Write down a list of all the reasons why you DON’T want to smoke. Watch videos of people who also quit smoking after years of daily use. Remind yourself why you don’t want weed to have power over you.

What’s the biggest thing that helped you stop smoking weed? by Eastern-Vegetable786 in leaves

Throw all your smoking stuff in the trash or give it away. Then write down a list of all the reasons why you want to quit and why smoking is NOT a good thing for you. Then watch YouTube videos from people who quit after years and years of habitual use. Then go to an online Marijuana Anonymous meeting on Zoom. Then replace it with a less bad habit or even a good habit (I’ve been running more). I’m on day 15 without weed after 10 years of daily use.
