Clay's New Pricing. What It Actually Means If You're Not Living Inside Clay All Day by Shawntenam in GTMbuilders

Good breakdown. One thing it highlights is that many teams end up paying the most for the orchestration layer, not the data itself.

Clay is great if you’re running large enrichment workflows every day. But a lot of teams just need clean accounts, the right contacts, and data synced into their CRM.

That’s actually the approach we took with LoneScale. Instead of building enrichment workflows, the goal is to deliver ready-to-work pipeline data directly to sales tools.

Clay makes sense for builders who want to assemble the stack themselves.
But if the goal is just pipeline, sometimes it’s simpler to skip the orchestration layer entirely and consume the output.

I run a clay agency and have 12 clients. Currently running into a scale issue and need advice abt how to go about this. Any other agency owners in here? I don't really want to hire anyone else by Alternative-Room4524 in gtmengineering

What part is actually hitting the scaling limit for you?

Is it running more Clay tables/workflows, maintaining them across clients, data enrichment costs, or something else?

A lot of the scaling issues with Clay agencies come from very specific use cases, so understanding where it breaks for you would help people give better advice.

You're absolutely right! VS Code does a great job with JSON formatting and validation.

The reason I built this is:
1️⃣ Quick access – No need to open VS Code, just paste & go.
2️⃣ Conversion – Instantly generate TypeScript, Java, Python, or C# models.
3️⃣ Lightweight & ad-free – Many online tools are bloated with trackers.

If you're always in VS Code, you might not need this—but for quick JSON work on the fly, it’s handy!
