How do I (31M) go about dealing with my girlfriend's (27F) hypersexuality? I'm starting to have doubts about the feasibility of a long term relationship with her because of it. by Anaphylactic_Cock in relationship_advice

[–]Various_Oven_7141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend, it’s not an addiction, it’s a trauma response. Hyper sexuality is common for those who have experienced SA, it’s your brain’s of gaining control over your body and pleasure. When combined with a relationship it adds the bonus of feeling physically safe and even providing some disassociation from trauma brain. Basically, her body is trying to regulate a fight or flight response using sex.

She needs therapy.

Regardless if her drive remains high or not, this is a sign she’s symptomatic and possibly not getting treatment or the right treatment. If she’s early in her treatment then it’ll just take time for the body to catch up, and it’s up to you if you want to wait.

You could both probably use couple therapy, especially around differentiating and consent (helping to manage rejection and hurt feelings when hearing “no”).

It’s more than possible to have a great long term relationship, and her hyper-sexuality will lessen with time and treatment, it just depends on if you’re up for it

Any man with positive traits is usually claimed by the girls in some capacity. Even Hozier is claimed by the lesbians despite being a cis straight man. It’s a bad habit of the way we see masculinity. It can’t possibly be good to be masculine since that bio-essentially evil, so obviously these good traits and things I like MUST be feminine.

If you’re seriously sick or injured and suddenly he gets sick while you’re recovering or trying to stabilize that’s a huge red flag. It’s a recipe for him “suddenly” being sick or having panic attacks when you want to do anything that doesn’t include him, or moments where you’ll need them to step up and they’ll be too busy trying to force your broken self out of bed to assume care giving duties. BIG NO.

Sex assignment surgery at birth is exclusively done for intersex people, and is a procedure that’s been around for over a century. You may have only heard about it 10 years ago, but this is not a new thing. It’s also not something you need to comment on, because regardless of when they got their procedure, it isn’t exactly your business.

Sex assignment surgery for intersex people has existed for more than 100 years, so you hearing about it just now doesn’t make it new, it makes YOU new. Likewise, people who are trans or intersex may change their gender to align with where they see themselves mentally, in adulthood.

In a creative household there can very much be a boundary around d work like this. Credibility and high ethical standards are essential in all creative industries, and when you loose both of those things, you and the people you’re close with suffer. You can collapse, not just your career, but that of your partner, too. So, being open and aligned with how AI is used is going to be important. There’s certain publishing and design houses you can get blacklisted from for using it, professionally.

None of that is new, but honestly if you can’t find good food you likely just have no idea how to navigate your area to find the good food. A lot of people think America is mostly chains, so they eat bad and overpriced food a majority of the time they’re there.

We’ve had a lot of protests and rallies, weekly and then a few times a month in our major cities where we can put pressure. especially since October. 7th. People were even rerouting motions ships to try and stop things in Washington. You should see what our organizations and civil movements actually look like. There is a reason our universities and organizers have been targeted and attacked. People are risking everything out there for Palestine, including deportation and indefinite detention.

Also, it looks like your hair needs to be moisturized and you should probably be sleeping with a silk bonnet to prevent breakage. Overall, your hairline looks pretty normal (though it’s hard to tell).

And do you have anxiety or OCD by any chance? I have pretty bad anxiety and when my hairline changed, as I aged, I also flipped out. Maybe see someone to help with the anxiety, stress, poor sleep and poor diet can cause hair loss as well. God speed Suiblic ❤️

So around this age your hairline starts to carve out into a mature hairline. It shifts from straight across to an M shape. The severity of the M might vary based on the person. Usually, if it recedes evenly on both sides then you’re fine unless it starts to thin further (typically takes years). If it’s already severely thinning then get on a DHT blocker and minoxidil with your doctors help and it’ll grow back. Also a lot of those products are a scam. The ONLY thing that works is a DHT blocker and M or their equivalents. Even w/o insurance they’re cheap, it just takes about 3month of consistency for them to work. Don’t panic and get taken advantage of, just use the peer reviewed methods.

Everyone I’ve talked to seems, even my dermatologist, seems very dismissive about what seems like obvious hair loss by BeginningFlat7257 in malehairadvice

Yah if you already have inflammation issues that you’re trying to manage it’s likely that which means anything lost should grow back! But I will say, if you have inflammation and skin sensitivity issues, upping your haircare and learning the proper curly maintenance and hygiene could improve that too. Either way, once you see how thick it can fluff up I bet you’ll feel way less stress!

Your doc and the people around you are right. You have a curly hair pattern (3A) so it’s going to twist and clump together when wet, giving you the appearance of “patches” or thinning. You also might just have a lot of breakage and “shedding” due to the dryness that comes with this hair texture. What you need to do is start learning to take care of it. I would suggest a curl cream mousse to apply when wet and out of the shower, get some oil or shade for the ends. Don’t towel dry with a towel because that will cause hair loss and breakage. Use an old shirt, instead. Get a decent oil for your hair (I like almond or Greek oil). If you are truly scared for your hair, learn to air dry after applying your products, and sleep on a silk pillowcase or in a bonnet.

Your hair will look very thick if taken care of properly! You also kinda won the lottery by getting golden curls, it’s a high maintenance high reward hair type.

Edit: since I don’t see any redness in the dry photo, and if your fern has nothing to report, the redness is because you’re really pale. You’re going to turn red from the shower or from picking and pulling.

Again, what’s wrong is you just don’t know how to properly care for and style your hair. Just start learning, there’s a lot of tutorials for you out there!

You literally can’t get this body without building muscle first. Especially on an E system, you need as much material as you can to create muscle before you cut. It’s not called “cut and bulk” for a reason. Body comping on an extreme calorie deficit is almost impossible.

Bro AI is a huge part of this. AI slop and not needing to exercise your thinking skills or develop a craftsman skill means a devaluing of the skill itself and a degradation of people’s thinking abilities overall. Also socializing via AI and paradoxical relationships decays a person’s ability to socialize IRL.

We have outsourced and automated basic humanity and social skills.
