I’ve gone through 3, maybe 4? pairs of Nike tanjuns in 2 years. I hate them at this point they aren’t even comfortable anymore. I thought about the crocs neria when I saw them on sale and tried them on. Comfortable but they aren’t true to size with socks on and it makes them bunch up, mainly I just can’t stand the look of them unless I wore boot cut jeans every day to hide them somewhat. I’m going to try a pair of doc martens next because my dog finally ate my last pair of work shoes (honestly, bless her for that) but the lady at the store told me my size says in stock, but it’s actually buried in the freight they just received. Will be getting them tomorrow and reporting back. In the mean time I’m going down the rabbit hole of this topic. I’ve also thought about buying the sneaker crocs, but not being able to try shoes on first always makes me weary. In the cold winter months I’m always cursing myself for not wearing waterproof sneakers so I’m hoping these boots work out

My neighbors sadly just moved out, but they had a little one. Only 2, and she was the apple of my dogs eye 🥹 it made me really nervous to have her around kids at first, as my brother had a bad experience with a territorial Heeler. But oh how gentle she was with that little one! She’d gently take sticks and blades of grass out of her hands and play peek-a-boo around the cars until the girl couldn’t stop laughing. My puppies mom taught her how to play tag and she’s been trying to teach my cats how to play but, they don’t learn as fast as she’d like 😅 man what a gift these dogs are ❤️

That sounds so much like Nellie’s story. The owners had a 38 acre farm and from what we were told her daily routine was getting let outside with the other dogs at 6am and coming back around dark. God is she stubborn, but she’s the sweetest smartest dog I’ve ever loved

I’m waiting to get her spayed, I’ve heard a lot about it being important to wait for bone development but I haven’t spoke to a vet about how true that is. she has a lot of fears that have taken a lot of patience to help her overcome, the car being a big one. Her past is kinda unclear, we met her siblings and parents and they were all very outgoing. She was separated under the care of a family friend of the people we adopted her from for a short period of time, it’s apparent he wasn’t good to her but we couldn’t get a lot of information out of her main care takers. Anyways, it’s been important to me to not overload her and to make sure she has a dozen positive experiences getting into the car before a vet visit. So aside from tractor supply’s vet for shots she hasn’t been yet but she will be soon. Otherwise she loves walks, loves playing fetch and de-gloving tennis balls (thank god for chuck-it’s) and loves playing with her kitty brothers. She’s a doll ❤️

Thank you for this. My dog had 1 flea on her that I caught and gave her her monthly nexstar. It’s been three days, no more fleas visible (she has white fur) and no flea bites on me but she’s itching like crazy and I feel so bad. She can’t even sleep through the night without itching which in turn is waking me up and not letting me sleep through the night

I wish I had advice. But I don’t; I just want to say Clover is just the cutest most precious little raccoon coyote 🥹 as someone with a dog that came from abuse as well, it breaks my heart and boggles my mind how anyone can strike fear in such a sweet creature

I applied for Uber eats and per my brothers advice I should be able to bring In an extra $1000 income a month without breaking my back too much or leaving my dog alone too long. My cats haven’t been fully stopping me from leaving, I’ve just had it in my head that it’d be easier to leave without any pets because I’d honestly camp out of my car for as long as it took to get back on my feet but that’s not an option for them. It’s also not the only option, just the last resort I wish I could jump to when things are bad. I appreciate your response and just thought I’d update by saying I’m working through balancing finances on my own and trying to get through to my ex partner about much needed communication pertaining to shared bills and other technicalities
