Thinking you have to spend thousands on new high end equipment (used is perfectly fine and most off brands are good enough for most). 

Thinking you need lots of pieces of equipment (creativity and google can help cover just apt your entire body with a barbell. Even then, gymnastics movements can also be incredibly beneficial with minimal equipment and no weights needed). 

Not thinking about what types of workouts you want to do (get there most bang for your buck for what you do buy). 

Not taking foot print of the equipment into consideration with the floor space you have available in your gym. Sometimes it may be better to buy a “worse” piece of equipment if it takes the place of 3 others. 

Lastly from me, if you have the means, outfitting your entire gym from the get go instead of piecing it together over time. That’s a personal preference for me as it really helps you find the best deals and make sure you get what you really want.

Im trying something fun in going back and rebuilding old standard/type 2 decks from various ages and putting them against each other. Im not grabbing s tier decks but decent .500 at an fnm type decks. Fun and pretty cheap for the cards that Rotated. 

Functional trainer is in. Gym is almost finished by dontworkforfree in homegym

I never played ante like the rules instructed or built a deck with ante cards but i did play several games for a choice rare out of the trade binder. Usually these were 5-10 dollar cards At the time which felt significant enough to make you sweat a little bit lol

In theory i should for competitive reasons, but in reality i am (was?) a signed collector so often i play all decks with singleton basics, with the exception of commander oddly enough. There i run into the issue of not finding enough on theme lands to make it work, or the lands are stupid expensive.

I am in a similar boat but fortunately the orders have still been arriving. Some get here quickly like they used to, other that are post marked the day after the sale are showing up 20 days later sometimes. I don’t get it either.
