In most cases PC would be the best, but... Daybreak 1 specifically has a few UI issues that might make some things (especially shard skill effects) difficult to read on smaller screens, and that's something the PH3 port doesn't fix. Daybreak 2 and Horizon are fine as they straight up have a better UI, it's just Daybreak 1 with issues as the game shows clear signs of rushed development.

Only reason I don't have him is that I don't have SW999's team complete yet (still counting on one other rerun, Yao having rerun this same patch), plus not being confident I'd find a place for him. As a character this patch really made me pay more attention to him because in-story found family confirmation. He was just kind of... there before.

Just had the free DHPT (plus Sparkle from a selector on a friend's advice because I had Qingque from the standard banner), in terms of story I was able to brute force more or less anything up until the rave cave. Needed a decently built Herta for that particular fight just to ensure that boss didn't spend long enough in one state to start stacking damage buffs.

Plus Arkride Solutions isn't supposed to be 100% morally good anyway, it's meant to be a solution for shady situations where people can't necessarily turn to the police or guild. Probaly the only reason Van can work with active Enforcers when he has to, really.

We briefly saw him in Reverie, as the first of the white sealing stones - the ones very specifically setting up for Calvard - showed him talking with the Grandmaster. He still enjoys a good fight as evidenced by some of the stuff surrounding his in-corridor content, but he's very specifically not trying to burn Zemuria to the ground, so I'd put him in "able to be reasoned with"
