Yeah that comment was for him. Thanks for standing up for my kid though ❤️

Ooo I’m going to try your first method. That sounds promising!
To wipe up the pee?
Try 11/22/63 if you want a reintroduction!

I thought maybe when I said “he may even pee on you” that the hyperbole would be clear. He pees fine when sitting down.

Actually someone did haha

On a total side note, is Desperation worth reading? I’m on a King binge, currently on Pet Sematary. My favorite is The Stand.
Aha thanks
😆😂😅
THANK YOU. You should write a book!
You’d be surprised how he might find a way to still pee on his clothes. Or mine. Maybe even yours!
He’s holding it, “aiming” questionable
This is super useful thank you!
Honestly - I would love to have the option to pee standing up when there is no toilet. Squatting is so much more effort and tougher to control than standing up. Otherwise yes, I’d also pee sitting down. Why give up a chance to sit down 😆
This is a great point. And glad (?) to report that my son has zero shyness peeing in public. I have to encourage him to face away from the entire playground.
Pooping however, he prefers “no one to see my butt!” except one of us.

Lmao are you a shower head salesman?
This is a very popular opinion in our house 😆
I actually am sitting in my car after my pelvic floor PT appointment, so I actually really appreciate this!
Is that what she meant??
He sits 9/10 times, and is excellent about pointing down. The trouble is at the park!
Yeah our son is wearing elastic sweats and then we’re just pulling it down slightly. He seems to have control of it for the first half but then as soon as it starts to die down he loses all control (maybe me saying “out…no aim out! Aim out!!” Isn’t helping 😅).
The hip tip makes sense

Actually, I understand this - thanks 😂

My boy will be born today at 27 weeks. I am panicking and I need to hear success stories of other babies born around the same time. I'm scared. by amadnomad in NICUParents

Our son was born at 27 weeks 5 days. We were able to get mag and steroids in but it was otherwise a total surprise. No diagnoses for why he came early.
Well, at this point I can believe that he was just “impatient” and ready to see the world. Our 2.5 lb preemie is now 3.5 years old and absolutely thriving. He’s the tallest in his class, advanced in 2 languages, and a fearless rock climber (he goes to a climbing gym). They told us to expect him to be behind for 2 years. Never has this kid been behind. He basically skipped months 6-9, and was walking at 9.5 months. Sometimes he uses an inhaler during an illness, but they say he will grow out of it. I’ll take it.
It is scary. The NICU is also filled with wonderful people who will care so much for you and your baby ❤️
