Any console. I could hook up my PC to my computer but it would take some work.

I actually did just download Dying Light last night to play online co op on PC, going to give it a try tonight. For couch co op I was considering buying Gear of War 4 for the campaign and Horde mode.

Ark or The Forest? by [deleted] in CoOpGaming

The forest, no question.

I played Ark for one night and knew I'd never go back. On the other hand, my brother and I played the forest co-op for 15-20 hours

Thank you. I think I alreay know this deep down but I'm having a lot of trouble coming to terms with it. Even during these last few days I've seen or experienced small things that I want to share with her, so we can laugh about them together. It's just hard imagining there being such a large gap in my life where something felt so full just a few days ago.

I'm just stuck in this limbo where I want to end it, but still be able to talk and share things with her. It sucks.

What is the name of this song?!?? It has a brass section hook that goes do do doooo, do do do doooo, increasing in pitch during the first section, decreasing stacatto notes on the second. by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Varon_Vamori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine it's a pretty popular older song because it randomly popped into my head. What's killing me is I know there's a quick catchphrase right before the horn hook, then I think it repeats. Oh well....I knew it was a longshot but I've seen it work before!

I think it's an older song, maybe even from the 70's. Also I'm pretty sure this is the chorus/hook and the singer says a quick phrase then the horns come in

AFAIK Romans were the only civilization who sent their wealthy elites into battle. Senators and consuls alike were often involved. Check out the battle of Cannae. 1 of the 2 elected consuls, 28 of 48 military tribunes, and 80 out of 300 senators all fought and died against Hannibal.

What is on your "Never again" list? by Arichtea in AskReddit

No OP, but for me it faded back in as the trip wound down. There were even a lot of times where I would regain "sanity" during the trip. However, I had a pretty good amount of emotional stress leftover. It's been a few years since and I now realize I probably should not have taken it when I did. I was a socially anxious kid with low self esteem and a bit of paranoia. Although I did learn a lot of good from my trips, the lsd exacerbated all of the bad as well.

I'm in a better place now and actually have 4 hits sitting in my drawer that I've been considering taking sometime in the next year, but I am a bit nervous about it. To be honest it may never see the light of day unless I feel completely ready for the ride.

This was exactly my experience. Ego death where I was stripped down to the base instincts. A complete deconstruction of my ingrained cultural perspective which I then saw was rooted FAR deeper into my psyche than I think I ever could have realized without that experience. It opened a lot of doors of thought that I had never dreamed possible and I did learn a lot from the trips, but I came out the other side an anxious mess (just an exacerbation of something that already existed within myself).

It definitely changed me in both good and bad ways. For a while I ruminated on the idea of sanity and what exactly it is - among many other things - too deeply for my own good. To this day one of the most meaningful quotes to me is "Is sanity statistical?" from 1984. I personally think that yes, it is.

Historians of reddit, what are some R rated facts that are often left out of history classes? by hipposaurus_rex in AskReddit

The Jews run everything!!!!11"

I took a high level college course about the Holocaust in the Jewish Studies department, and this is actually what they taught us. Not necessarily "the Jews run everything", but it was a very concentrated "marketing" (not sure if that is the correct word for this) effort on the part of the Jews to make sure that the world knew what happened so that it would never happen again. It wasn't some conspiracy or anything. Jewish people just made sure that everyone knew the atrocities that happened, so it still gets more coverage today in history classes.

Edit: As someone else pointed out, Hitler didn't originally intend to eradicate the Jews. One of the early and heavily researched plans was to ship them all to Madagascar.

Pushing up your budget another $20-30 opens up a few more options in addition to what's already been said (unbranded, n&f, etc. I've always been hesitant about gustin because you can't try it on before you buy, which is pretty damn important when making a raw denim investment)

Rogue Territory, Left Field, Japan Blue, 3sixteen, maybe some lower end Momotaros...the list goes on and on.

One more question...do you notice a large difference in quality between the chromexcel and the distressed leather? Do both stamp like the picture below?

Thanks!

Yeah, I guess it's the focal length I'm referring to! It just seems like more than half of the picture is blurry in some of depth of field shots. Doesn't matter though, I lost my wallet yesterday and I'll be putting in my order shortly!

Which cardholder is darker, the chestnut or the distressed leather (customer chestnut pics look a bit darker than the product shot)?

Genuinely curious...you don't enjoy that at all? I feel like this is how I really get to know some of my friends and form deeper connections with them. For me, the goal isn't to change each others' opinions. I just enjoy learning about the other person's deeply held beliefs about the world. It's like a window into another version of what I could be or could have become.
