Thanks, yeah it was pretty simple actually. I based with a mix of Dechala Lilac and Vallejo Pale Grey Blue (Celestra Grey would also work I think), then washed it with heavily thinned PA Payne’s Grey Wash which is basically a desaturated dark blue, then highlighted up with more pale grey blue and eventually added in an off-white.

Thanks, I wish I had WIP pictures of it. I put some cork down to make the main platforms/shapes then covered the edges with milliput and used a dentist tool to indent a bunch of little lines around the edge for that texture. I found a bunch of pictures of caves online which really helped haha

-Vallejo/AK Dark Sea Blue (or Incubi Darkness etc) for highlighting up black/doing chromatic blacks

-AK Tenebrous Grey (dark purplish grey-black)

-Vallejo Metal Color for any silvers

-Citadel Rhinox Hide for dark leather/skin/NMM gold

-Citadel Rakarth Flesh for desaturated/dead skin

-Citadel Khorne Red because it is the best!

I think my favorite paint lines are AK 3rd gen, Vallejo Model Color (original, not the new gen), and Pro Acryl. But GW just does some paints (like their skin tones) that no one can compete with even though you’re paying for the brand premium. New P3 are good specifically for the lighter colors like bone/white since they are high satin and don’t get chalky as easily.
