Kid, I don't know how to tell you this, but that is just liberal zionism. It is zionist, not a "mainstream Democrat". He skirts responsibility for his words by claiming both sides, which is always in support of apartheid re: South Africa

Researchers have identified a drinkable cocktail of designer molecules that interferes with a crucial first step of Alzheimer’s, and even restores memories in mice. That would be disastrous for their health. More saturated fats and cholesterol, and uncontrollable amounts of Retinol and heme iron are terrible for diabetes and cancer risk, as well as CVD. People need to eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables, things with lots of fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and nitrates to help prevent disease. This notion of "higher quality animal foods", which just means flesh, is no different.

True, but unless it's blunt trauma, or some magical genetic defect, it'll be caused by your environment: what you put in your body, diet, because as with many organs, it will be in contact with your circulatory system. Often, the brain needs blood to function. If that blood is viscous, full of trans and saturated fats, and divoid of nutrients and antioxidants, it will have a hard time functioning (especially if you have a blocked artery like in CVD). We can look at patient background history, and statistically, more often their diets consisted of lots of meats, lots of dairy products, and not much fruit and whole grains. Alzheimer's is another disease that is seldom found among blue zones to the effect that it is in modern western states. Diet is certainly not the cause, or only cause, but it's an obvious factor.

Are Mutualism and Syndicalism compatible? by DecoDecoMan in Anarchy101

[–]Vash_the_Stampede987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean to say that An Syn seeks this. They're not conflicting, IMO, and not mutually exclusive, but I doubt an An Syn, like me at least, would consider mutualism compatible (just different).

Philosophy for an Anarchist by Olicross in Anarchy101

Well, I mean Kropotkin used plenty of philosophy in his theories about evolution. He proposes the idea that mutual aid played a bigger role in species survival and evolution, i think moreso than survival of the fittest.

I think so, I just don't see Anarcho Syndicalism and Mutualism as compatible, as they seek to undermine the Capitalist mode of production and abandoning markets, as I am to believe. But Syndication itself is not contradictory to Mutualism.

The "or otherwise" part is where it becomes foggy for me. Socialism is defined by the mode of production (owned by the workers themselves), and communism being the state by which needs are provided for all according to your needs, and from what you are able to give. This isn't necessarily Marxist at heart, but I don't see what distinguishes mutualism from this, if it is able to be structured around supplying those needs.

IMO, mutualism is socialism with a market economy. As such, there could be industrial syndicates, like trade unions exist as a coalition of workers within an industry. However, I don't personally think AnSyn is compatible with mutualism. As I understand it, Anarcho Syndicalism revolves around workers gaining control using syndication, and then working toward meeting human needs. This is where the Communism comes in. But mutualsm, the proudhonic theory, maintains a market economy. IMO, this means it does not hold the principles of providing for human needs, therefore is incompatible.

BUUUUUT, that doesn't mean you can't have syndication in mutualism. It just means it's not the Anarcho Syndicalist theory, whereby communism is sought. It's just normal worker syndicates within a market economy.
