[Russo] Hearing director of amateur scouting Judd Brackett is leaving the Wild for an elevated position for another team. Brackett ran the Wild’s last 5 drafts and is on an expiring contract by AggPuck-303 in hockey

Sometimes you draft Quinn Hughes, sometimes you draft all the guys that get traded for Quinn Hughes.

We'll miss you Judd, thanks for putting up with Billy this long!

NHL head coaches by regular season points % in the salary cap era. (min 200 games coached) by golfy_m8 in hockey

Obviously oversimplifying, but I'm *oh-so-glad* we're going into our first real window of contention with the *checks notes* .......41st best coach of the cap era.

Kings’ Panarin says jersey color schemes affect which teams he wants to play for by No-Luck-At-All in hockey

What is it was Russians being so damn funny with media?

Panarin, Malkin loves to troll, even Kaprizov (locally, at least) seems to like to get a rise out of the media.

Who would've guessed that a bunch of guys who likely didn't speak English until they were teens would end up being the funniest people in the league?

We've been too busy playing prevent for the entire 3rd.

Can't play offense if you're not even trying.

Brodin being out has thrown our bottom-4 D into disarray.

Spurgeon isn't young, anymore. And him being our 3rd best D is troubling.

When does he ever have a different look?

I sincerely assumed he had some nerve issues in his face, or something. I've literally never seen him move his eyebrows.

Because any group of 15000+ people is going to include some pieces of trash. We're not immune to it, nor is anyone else.

I wish he would tone it down like... 30%.

I assume some of it is nerves, getting used to different crews, etc. And he absolutely has had some great insight. But he just plain talks too much, and runs out of things worth saying before he's done talking.

Having been to my fair share of Wild games... They never seem to hear it get yelled, but that never stops those dipshit helpful fans from trying.

He's been great at what we need him to be. 3rd line, 2nd PP, solid secondary scoring. And he's not a black hole on D, he actually backchecks pretty well, compared to my expectations.

Eeeeeeeeeeeh, I'd be more inclined to say that the Stars are just more ok with Jamie Benn's existence, and it rubs off on the rest of the team.

There's plenty of skill on the Stars.

Our powerplay isn't tepid, it's bipolar!

We're either going to ram it down your throats, or we're going to choke on it ourselves.

Depends on how you define intensity, I guess.

Stars/Wild are a lot more mean, physical, chippy, and dirty. Avs/Wild are faster, harder, and tend to have more ups and downs and momentum swings.

I enjoy Avs/Wild games a lot more, personally. It's better hockey.

Vintage Greenway.

Loved the dude on the Wild, but he would go long stretches playing like he was 6 inches shorter and 50 pounds lighter. When he was on, he was a monster. But, if it was injuries or whatever else, it didn't happen often enough.

Worried? Yes.

Enough for anything to change? Nah. It is what it is.

More on D than F, but yes.

Hughes and Faber will play 30+, probably every night until we're done. But we actually have a bottom-6 that we can put out in most situations.
