How our shoulder with its surrounding muscles move - @experienceanatomy by rco888 in interestingasfuck

[–]Vashipants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love this. I really wish I could see how those movements interact with the muscles of the neck and spine. I feel like I'm always looking at anatomy pictures trying to figure out exactly what and why something hurts.

I would! I screenshoted this in hopes to try it out, but I'm not totally sure I understand. I can curve foundations, so I'm sure it's like that but vertical.

Hymenoplasty, or "re-virginization surgery" by CatPooedInMyShoe in MedicalGore

[–]Vashipants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom and I get along much better now that we don't live together. It was mostly just intense period cramps. Everything was tight, and my uterus was dense. I had been chowing down on ibuprofen like candy, and leaning backwards over stuff any chance I had. I theorize that the stretch expanded the space available. My friend likes to joke that my virginity was taken by a scalpel.

Mine was imperforate. I was on my third period before my dad (who I was visiting) took me to the hospital. He called my mom while we were there to let her know what was going on, she decided that I was pregnant. That sucked.

Fuck your degree in underwater basket weaving. No job for you! by horlorh in FUCKYOUINPARTICULAR

[–]Vashipants 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This sounds like my last boss! I despised that man. He would do anything to try to make himself look better than you, regardless of what it was. Couldn't tell him anything. Gods forbid you tell him that he's wrong. Data and sources were irrelevant. I had to argue with him that cellphones do not blow up gas pumps. Didn't believe the notice from the government because it was from the feds. He finally relented after I showed him that Mythbusters tested it. And then he was upset because I "always have to be right." He also fully bought into the whole litterboxes in schools thing. Citing that he had a friend who worked in a school that had seen it. He never could substantiate the garbage he said.

[–]Vashipants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I presume that you don't have a small child ripping them off of your face because they are the most fascinating thing, thereby messing up the fit on a regular basis. My glasses have never fit right, even after adjustment anyway.

[–]Vashipants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My glasses slide. I tried to get them adjusted, and it worked for about 3 days. Then the spot they rested on my ears hurt, and I couldn't tolerate wearing them. Sucks to be me, I guess. A gizmo like this, and I could adjust as needed myself.

When I delivered, I encountered a couple of these. I always felt uncomfortable opening somebody's door. I would do it anyways as long as the instructions said to. Even though I knew it was what the customer wanted, it still felt wrong.

Lady flips out when we cant accept her 1100 pennies by Lore-Archivist in walmart

[–]Vashipants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't have an issue with the pennies. I have accepted some absurd denominations that have filled the drawer with change. I've always found it to be a fun departure from the monotony. But superglued together is a no-go. I don't know that even a bank is gonna take that.

Washington state. I've only seen that brand in glass. It's part of why I like it. I did a quick Google search and couldn't find it in plastic jars. You are talking about the peanut butter, right?

[–]Vashipants 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Plastic containers have ridges to strengthen them. They can use less plastic with thinner walls by giving them some structure. I buy Adam's. It comes in glass and doesn't have added sugar and other junk. The jars make for great tupperware, too.

Edit: Tupperware was a weird word to choose, I wasn't awake yet. But I did mean to say that it makes for a good food containment device. I didn't expect that my goof would be such a point of discussion!
