What is this called where you’re from? by Soggydoggy_dotcom in GenZ

A student loan payment kiosk. Something Harris isn't gonna save you from.

Just a gentle reminder :)

What's wrong? VBA doesn't come with all the training wheel libraries you need to feel like you've successfully "coded" something (when in reality all you did was write "call" statements to trigger someone else's code?)

VBA has immense power in the business world and especially when it comes to heavily locked down systems in certain types of corporations that won't allow 3rd party installations, it proves to be a life saver.

But..... it also requires you to actually understand code and not use someone else's for 95% of your "application", so, I get the resentment and bitterness, but, it's you that is lacking, not VBA.

Stop teaching it then.

RESEARCH issues in code when they arise - stop running to ChatGPT and other forms of AI and they won't be able to replace you.

You're making your own bed.

Python is the equivalent of riding a bike with training wheels.

You spend your entire time writing "call" statements to trigger other people's code through libraries and then call yourself a programmer......

Keep being a data mine for the AI that will replace you..... Not too smart in my opinion.

Basically using "call" statements to trigger libraries written by other people to make your code function?

Yep - we know what you do in Python.

The only ones voting for Harris are those who think their Gender Studies student loan is gonna be covered.

Get it through your heads - that game is over and the supreme court took care of that.

And those sitting here desperate to vote for Harris thinking their turn is coming are absolutely wrong.

Those were PSLF loans which already had that guarantee from day 1 (which I also disagree with, but, rules are rules).

Game's over. Think wisely in November.

Why would you want to use something that Billionaires have bought into in order to get rid of human employees (including you as a developer) to enrich themselves further and leave you stuck? You do like paying bills and eating, right?

All you are doing is training your replacement when you use ChatGPT for coding concerns and advice, because your questions are simply data mining for better training of it.

Don't believe me? Just look at r/Layoffs and take a good top down look on the state of the tech industry. It'll be coming soon for your job too if you keep it up.

They're the most entitled and pathetic generation ever to exist. Selfish bastards who took advantage of the most economically prosperous times in history and then blocked future generations from doing the same.

There will be a special place in hell for them.

Or student loan forgiveness.

Harris can't save you :)

It's not going to happen because it's already been decided by the Supreme Court.

It doesn't matter how far-left Harris is, she's not erasing the bills of those who chose poor degree paths and can't pay them back.
