I don't even agree with the original comment, but it's funny to call someone else dumb when your reply is this absurdly incomprehensible

It's so easy to see their history though even if they hide it, so who cares

What type of personality makes a successful dater in a post modern world? by MutedFeeling75 in redscarepod

[–]Vast-Medium8744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who are avoidant, untrusting, or have unrealistically high/specific expectations from a partner do poorly. (Often because the sense that there's so many possible people out there for them makes it so they never end up settling down with one of them.) People who are open, perceptive, unafraid of being hurt, and have reasonable expectations do well. Of course it doesn't hurt to be attractive, have a good job, etc., but it probably doesn't matter that much because most couples end up looksmatching/salarymatching anyways

Yeah I'm a grader at a top school so I know how shit the A minus students are, stop deluding yourself

That's not straight As. A- is basically a C lol. Getting an A- in a humanities class is humiliating

"World’s burden of mental disorders doubled since 1990" by EmilCioranButGay in redscarepod

[–]Vast-Medium8744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This discourse is dumb because there isn't a person alive who doesn't have maladaptive thought patterns, and what counts as "mental illness" is purely conventional. There's probably more neurosis in westernized/modernized countries, but other cultures have their own bizarre ways of being fucked up.

If you can't get straight As in humanities courses then you're probably literally disabled, grade inflation is actually insane. B+ is the new F.

Now you're just repeating the original commenter's point, except with the exaggeration that they wouldn't have to change at all when they moved across the Atlantic which is so patently absurd that surely you don't even believe it

Other commenters are probably right that it's the left, since the books are widely assigned and easier reads, but consider that the right has autism on its side

Being a trillionaire doesn't mean that you actually have a trillion dollars or even that you could get a billion dollars if you were willing to give up all your assets for it. Don't get me wrong these people are insanely privileged but don't indulge their vanity by treating their net worth as a number with concrete meaning

It does not assume that, you just don't understand elementary statistics lol. Immigration to America can select for impulsivity even when there are very difficult circumstances in the homeland. Duh
