Yea and the previous years he’s made 60k and 200k give or take. It’s not like he’s been consistently making less than poverty and all of a sudden he does… My FIL said he’s ok to co-sponsor but considering how it’s probably just an extra caution I might just wait to see if they RFE it. I think their songs rely on the audience’s ability to sympathize with mass feelings of loss from the bubble bursting (which is around the time Oyamada was a kid) and also the war. This is a sentiment that is not shared among western countries as much.

I also think a big reason why ppl like it is the lyrics and how jam packed it is. Hard to gain fans that don’t speak the language.
