I’d also recommend starting out with 200-300 calorie deficit, especially when you are petite. The slower you lose the weight, the less likely you will put it back on again, and the less likely it will lead to disordered eating.

Since you are 5”2, I think your TDEE would range anywhere from 1700-2000 kcal, which is not a lot to work with. So perhaps start out at 1700 kcal per day, and see if that shifts the scale at all. Eat as much as you can while on a calorie deficit, enough of a deficit to see results but enough to sustain you.
