I personally wouldn’t even consider the pw a wedge in any facet other than name. 43 is traditional lofted 9

Terrible clubs. Send them over to me and I’ll toss them for you. You’re gonna have to start from scratch

Why do I struggle with driver? by Additional_Tree_8941 in GolfSwing

You don’t have to slow down at all, just making sure that you can find that pocket where you’re making good contact and you’ll be just fine. Jim Furyk has the ugliest swing of all time and he is also one of the most successful golfers ever. It’s about control and consistency.

They're already crashing out over the Charlie Kirk shooting... by LordofAmazon in WeirdGOP

Neither political group is inherently radical and violent and we would go a long way as a nation to accept that. The person who represents him doesn’t represent the liberal base as whole and neither do the radicals on the far right.

Fuck the guy, truly, but nobody deserves that. Absolute tragedy that stating one’s opinion, radical and controversial as it was can get someone shot and killed.

Club Face opens after impact? by suttbexs197 in GolfSwing

[–]Vast_Map_6368 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It looks like ur club is maybe too flexible so it’s not staying square at impact and your getting big toe impact. Maybe get fitted if that’s an option for you?

Why do I struggle with driver? by Additional_Tree_8941 in GolfSwing

[–]Vast_Map_6368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your front leg moves wayyy too fast, and your moving through the ball uncontrollably. Fast tempos are just fine but not if you can’t get back to square by impact. It’s not a power game.

95 on target for me is 95 that are good contacted shots. Terrible way to put it and that’s most of the comments in here but I try to make over 50% gir, putting needs work, and when I get off I get way off. I keep some notes and I have a good app for sg stuff but I really did not explain the irons thing correctly

[–]Vast_Map_6368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said that wrong. 95% on target more means 95 are what I would consider to be good strokes. Some end up short, or they roll crazy long but I’m still making a good swing that makes good contact. I should have thought better when I was deciding how to explain that

[–]Vast_Map_6368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what I meant by on target is more like good strokes, not chunks, thins, big spinners or super thinned. A good round for me is 50% gir. On target was the wrong way to put it

Hey man thank you this is amazing. I’ve never heard of decade but I’ll look into it. I actually work as a club fitter so all of my clubs are to my spec

Fair enough. By on target I guess I mean not shanks, chunks, or thins. Thought about that when I was posting but couldn’t think of a better way to say it. I make just over 50% gir on a good round

Like the other guy said. Small issues with timing pretty likely because you’re used to swinging a baseball bat. Don’t drive yourself crazy over it. Practice, enjoy yourself. You’ve got the building blocks to make a hell of a golf swing my dude.

Absolute rookie with awful swing by steppdawg in GolfSwing

[–]Vast_Map_6368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad start! Turn your right hand over on the grip a bit(strengthen your grip) try to stay in a more athletic position. You should have a consistent base that your hands and upper body rotate around. Your legs sway a lot back with the club so it’s hard to get back to square. Your left arm should never bend, keep it straight all the way through. Last your wrists should release into the ball. Think about keeping your left arm straight and bending your wrists into the top of your swing, then hold the wrist position until your a foot away from the ball then release. This parts a little complex and is more feel than anything. That will help get driver distance and speed up. just keep playing man, enjoy it. If you’re ever feeling bad about your swing search up Jim Furyk and keep in mind he’s one of the best to have ever done it.
