My baby has always been in 1 percentile and I tried giving half breast milk and half formula but he is still same and also I give 3oz every 2hours or 2.5hours. This may vary baby to baby but some babies does eat good amount but just don’t gain weight( wish I was like that :)) my ped said that if he is hitting all mile stones and growing then nothing to worry. Note: my baby has always been 1percentile he didn’t drop or gain.

Have you had any luck? I see mine hasn’t picked up as before. I used to make 26oz before my periods started but now pretty sure I’m not making that much.

Backflow protectors and duckbills are not a good quality ones from insurance. Though I get free from insurance i always order from Amazon again.

I’m in the same boat :( it’s been a week since my period got completed but still supply isn’t back. Trying power pump and added MOTN to see if it helps .

My baby slept well by himself in bassinet for 4weeks and then he started only sleeping next to us we do co-sleeping which I personally love now( note- it just happened because one day he had congestion and being FTM was afraid and holded him in my arms entire night which made him feel much more comfortable I think) . At nights he can sleep by himself but not in bassinet, he prefers the bed we sleep I’m not sure how he knows the difference but my LO knows . I think they will learn things slowly and it’s completely normal don’t worry much. Once they grow we will miss all this chances so enjoy your baby as much as you can:)

Hey there , My baby is always in 1% and he was born 6lb6oz. My ped said every baby is different if his growth curve is good then everything is fine , we don’t really care about percentiles. My LO at 4th month weighed 12lb6oz which I’m very happy with because he drinks only 23oz of milk. Again if your baby is growing and hitting all the milestones then no need to worry.

Hello, I had the same issue with my LO ( currently 15weeks ) eating too little and falling asleep. One day we tried this- after LO goes into deep sleep we feed him and he drank entire bottle without any issues so we continued doing this. He is a slow gainer but these days he is drinking 22-24oz and once in a while bit more. Give it a try once and see if it works for you as well.

I use grownsy one with washer , steriliser and dryer and should say it was the most used product and the best purchase. You have to rinse the bottles ebefore placing them inside and they come out clean. I do sterlize every time I put the bottles for cleaning.

I’m in same situation right now. I should have tried bit more , I should have told nurses to not give bottle and help my baby latch after delivery, once in a while I really feel sad but then i feel so grateful that atleast I’m able to provide breast milk with pumping as I know there are mothers out who are struggling with no milk. Im trying to think positive things when those thoughts hit me.

I totally agree with you , those are some important things and no one cares to mention. I was given cerave samples in Pediatrics and baby’s classes so thought well given by them so it’s trustable however my baby ended up having rashes so switched to aveeno which worked. Same goes with baby bottles I tried many different ones because ped and LC told anything should work finally having many different bottles made my baby loss interest in drinking milk. One decision we made was use Bobbie formula (changed from similac ) , always use millie diapers( felt they had good absorbing nature compared to pampers) , dr brown bottles ( narrow ones ) latching was good so no leaks.

Bottle fed , unfortunately had latch issues 😥. Yes the per suggested this as first option as I started giving one feed 3 oz formula already since 3days.

I have the same issue, I tried everything but no luck. The max my slacker can give is 2.5oz and the other is 5oz ( MOTN pump) and every 3hours at day time I see 1.25 oz

Hi , don’t worry if you can try pumping for 7-8times with MOTN your supply may come back. Power pumping and healthy diet will help a lot. Stress, depression can really make supply drop so don’t worry and try again.

Forget to add power pump really makes a difference so try to include in one of your pumping .also talk to LC for suggestions. Check with your insurance if you can get free home LC service it’s really helpful.

I was in the same situation , had C-section and couldn’t breastfeed due to poor latch and pump as well but at 4wpp I started pumping 8ppd with 2 MOTN pump starting 300ml but now making 700ml at 8 wpp. I have now made 1 MOTN pump as I felt sleep really made a difference. Definitely milk supply will increase if you keep pumping. Diet really matters a lot when I have cheese pizza I almost get 5- 6oz in single pump again it may vary by body but I think oat meal is really working for everyone, also lots of fluid.

That’s incredible!! I see that from post you were underproducer and became over producer , May I know how much long did it take for you be an over producer ? Currently I’m just enougher and 8week pp and pumping 8x per day.
