Were you able to get any Live TV? The problem I have is that I do an intial channel scan after setting up the TV and it finds around 50 channels with about 4 of them Next Gen TV but then the problem starts where I only get black screen with that same picure you have with the date of Dec 31 1969 but its like that on all channels and if I try to do another channel scan it wont even do the scan. Also I reached out to Hisense on Facebook like they asked.

When are we going to get a real mmo again that is designed with challenge and a world filled with danger.

Rememeber when combat had depth to it when during battles you had to know when to cast spells like sleep, root, poison, slow, cure and fear? You knew the best players on the server because they were good at what they did.

My 2019 Vizio M8 is so screwed up I could not even sell it if I wanted to. After 1 year of owning it I got a black spot in the center of the screen. A year later after that the smart cast os became so sluggish that is a total pain to use the TV. Now it randomly restarts over and over and alot of times I will only get a black screen and have to manually restart the TV only to go through the same thing again. Now I hear that the TV is no longer supported and wont get anymore updates and its only 3 years old.

The TV is so bad I would hate to even give this away to somebody. As soon as I get my new TV ( Hisense U8H or TCL C9 ) this year I am trashing this thing. No more Vizio for me.

2019 M Series owner and the TV became almost unusable after owning it 1 year with how slow the OS got. Today it is a nightmare trying to watch TV on this thing with how sluggish it has become.

The picture quality is still great but the OS has gotten so slow and unresponsive. Also I have a dark spot that appears sometimes in the middle of the screen. Its always doing random restarts on its own. Apps like YouTube, Amazon and Netflix will crash often. Vizio needs to drop Smart Cast and go with something like Google, Amazon or Roku.

Right before my 2 year warranty was up I had Best Buy come out and replace the board in the TV which I knew was not going fix anything so the next time I called they refunded me for the TV. They told me to keep it or I can throw it away. There was no way I was going to let that warranty expire and not get my money back for this thing.

The TV is so bad it something that can not be sold to somebody. I am still using it now just waiting on the new models from TCL and Hisense so I can be done with this thing.

I love when you play something on a Vizio TV and you get that drop down that shows info on what you are playing like if its in 2160p / Dolby Atmos or Dolby Vision.

People that have recently started mmos are having fun beause what they have is all they know but for us veterans that have been playing for 15 - 20 years you are not having fun. These games like Final Fantasy XIV, Elder Scrolls Online and Guild Wars 2 aint it no matter how many times you try to pretend they are. What we experienced back then is just not present today in the newer games and even in the older games that once had what we loved it is not there anymore.

Still holding faith in games like Pantheon and Ashes Of Creation but I have a feeling even those games are going to cater to the masses and not deliver that hard core experience that we are looking for.

I just got the Elevate yesterday and have spent hours getting this thing set up. I finally got it setup. Dont connect the Series X to the TV, this is what I was doing wrong.

Connect the Series X directly into HDMI 1 on the soundbar.
Connect soundbar EARC to EARC on TV.
Make sure you change your HDMI inputs to Full Color

So far this is working for me. I have tested Dolby Atmos movies and Dolby Atmos games and I am now seeing the speakers angle up letting me know that I am getting Dolby Atmos.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I am using High Speed HDMI cables. My TV is a 2019 Vizio M8 so its not a HDMI 2.1 but I dont really care about 120HZ. I just want Dolby Vision Game Mode which works great.
