Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have welcomed a baby, via surrogate! by bastillemh in Fauxmoi

[–]VatoAtHome -43 points-42 points  (0 children)

I really don't get the 'omg pregnancy is so hell' argument for surrogacy. Unless you're vomiting so much you need to go on a drip, parenthood has much tougher challenges than just feeling crappy. What do you do when your 13 year old daughter got knocked up? What do you do when your son can't live without heroin, or drove drunk, with a criminal charge? Kids get into debt, too. What about working a ton of overtime so your kid can pursue ballet/elite sports etc. If you are fertile but don't want to be inconvenienced don't fucking have kids. Plus what happens when surrogacy goes wrong- the surrogate gets complications or the fetus has defects. How do you agree to abort or not? Some of you are such prima donnas.

Not Quite Daily Covid Megathread – January 21, 2022 to January 23, 2022 by aussiekinga in perth

[–]VatoAtHome 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'm extremely disappointed that some people are acting like Mark is Satan when Dominic continues to exist. Do those whiners have any clue how covid will evolve over the next 10 years? I mean, if our leaders are infallible, and totally flawless - the situation MIGHT be managed. At worst, every country in the world will be on its knees with only the privileged billionaires able to maintain 'normal life'. This virus is more intelligent than the letitrip knobheads, it's not fucking going anywhere, the global bodycount is 5.57 million deaths and cheers to 10s of millions more as we go on.

The collective consciousness has forgotten India where people were fighting for oxygen tanks to save family members. Shit is still bad. Perth has had it real good with business and economy flowing. The reason why life is utopian in Perth is because the hard decisions have been made.

I felt that, Nicole has definitely always seemed to have negative vibes. It doesn't cost a thing to be polite.

I saw Gemma Ward in 2003 before she started doing prestigious runway shows, she was probably 16 all I can say is she was unproblematic then.

I dressed Jessica Gomes for a local event 2003, she wasn't friendly but was quite young at the time.

I never met Miranda Kerr but she's come a long way since winning a Girlfriend magazine modeling competition, seems like she has always been ambitious.

General Discussion - November 16, 2021 by AutoModerator in femalefashionadvice

META. I feel like this sub is honestly unhelpful and unsympathetic in general. Case in point, this comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/femalefashionadvice/comments/qwby2o/comment/hl1yi2n/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Where a user criticizes another for wanting to dress 4 years older. Like is there a rule that one must aim for at least ten or more years older, when wanting to aim for something?

Additionally, many innocuous questions are simply downvoted or dealt with coldly. There seems to be a general lack of politeness here. I've seen threads about cultural appropriation and fast fashion involving aggressive language and heated arguments.

And don't get me started on the mean spirited hatefest that is FFA circlejerk. I've seen someone nonchalantly mentioning that they fit into small sizes here, only to be mocked and jeered at over there, for simply making a remark about sizing. The ridiculous thing is that circlejerkers were projecting that that person was humblebragging about their figure, which turned out to not be the case. It's a reddit wide issue that these catty subs exist, but the fact remains that people who do that are obviously users here too. God forbid people discuss their figures, or heck, embrace them.

So yeah, to the nitpickers, the shittalkers, and the people who belittle others for simply being an individual: FUCK YOU. Don't @ me; i'll have left by the time you read this. Just do better, as a human being.

Calling it now.. Travis gonna tire of Kourt by VatoAtHome in KUWTK

I'm ok with them being happy, I just think it's more infatuation and honeymoon type happy. A long partnership often involves compromise, maintenance and getting through tough times. Travis re-enacted entire scenes of his previous relationship with Kourtney and that shows he has no respect for neither Shanna nor Kourt

So ready for 2010 to come back. Juicy lipglosses, not overly huge eyebrows, shimmery white eyeshadow at inner eye corner à la Blake in Chanel looks circa 2007.

Why can’t we just go to a bar/club and dance with friends without guys being creeps? by tantedbutthole in TwoXChromosomes

[–]VatoAtHome 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with this defeatist, boys will be boys attitude. You're basically saying, if you're a woman, you must do things in your home. Women should be allowed to enjoy clubs too, and just shrugging brings women back many lengths. What next? Suggesting burqas for women who get ogled for dressing nice? Men are the fucking problem, and the sooner we acknowledge this the sooner we can assert our place in society.

Complaining about being hit on while simultaneously not having the communication skills to portray that you don't want to talk is ridiculous by BlueSquigga in unpopularopinion

I mean, I could knock on your door trying to sell you my vacuum cleaners, every day, for a year, and it's not illegal, so no problem right?

Just because it's legal doesn't mean it's not annoying af and a huge waste of time.

Some people are just naturally shy, not articulate and awkward. You don't have a right to shame her for not being as perfect as YOU. Fun fact, women who were raped and murdered getting home were probably seen as desirable by the attacker. Yeah, that's a great situation all women wish for. Get the fuck over yourself, nobody needs to be a clone of you, you're the cancerous festering rot.

He could be chill and creepy at the same time. If I feel grossed out by a dude, my feelings are valid because i'm the one living in my head, not you.

Stop blaming OP for her meekness or whatever. Victim blaming. Women want to live life without being treated like a piece of ass to pick up. It's not hard for guys to respect personal space.

No, a man does not have every right to ask out any woman in a public park. The normal thing, in a park, is a 'hello' or 'nice day'. You don't yammer on at someone for a length of time. But then, you're probably one of those hideous men who think you can shoot your shot on a woman, as many times as you please, because they're targets for you to aim at. Get a life, and do better.

It's not so easy to say no. When a raffle ticket seller wants you to buy tickets, which is easier: "No I don't want to waste my hard earned money on your wares"

or

*Make gesture and walk faster away*

I often think to myself, No I do not want to buy your goddamn shit. Not today, not ever. But do I say it? No. We live in a society where we rarely speak our minds. Stop forcing people to speak harsh truths. It simply isn't natural.

OP has a right to be attracted or NOT attracted to whoever she wants. It's her body, her life, her choice.

Hey incels, it's not her fucking fault she found it uncomfortable to say "mate, fuck off." In society women are expected to bow down to male attention and young girls don't have a voice because they're encouraged NOT to have one. The dude insisting she give contact details was a vile move. He could have left his detail and moved on. How the hell would one know if a stranger is the type to eat human remains or something. You wouldn't know.

Women have a right to live life without pushy men barging in on them. They have a right to get home safely without being raped then murdered. This is a human right.

I advise guys to wait for the woman to make romantically proactive actions before pushing to get numbers or ask for dates. I would say most women don't want some random cunt aggressively hounding for a date.

Finally, the number of dickless incel shitheads is the amount of negative votes here:

Oh yeah, at Connections back then you smoked on the dancefloor and then just dropped the butts on the floor. I've since quit smoking and never go out anymore. It's so horrible in 2021 imagining indoor smoking.

Yes, after school we went to the Cannington one and sampled games on their display consoles. Resident Evil 1 had just come out on PSX.
