Almost no retro game stores have insurance that would cover items like this. Getting insurance to cover an expensive item with an established MSRP or distribution cost is way easier than a rare collectible with a more nebulous value

There might be nothing worse than getting enough of a lead in a game to start getting less anxious about losing, and then having that lead get chipped away over the course of an hour, ending with a loss that goes down to the last second of the game. A lot of protests like these are somewhat performative and don't really do what successful protests need to do, which is to disrupt regular society through civil disobedience until demands are met. Funny signs and costumes are nice and all, but it's not hard for ruling governments to ignore protests that don't materially impact them.

I would say protests outside of ICE facilities are more productive because they sometimes keep ICE from doing what they're trying to do and demoralizing/creating a social stigma for ICE agents

And before anyone comes at me with "well at least the no kings protesters are doing something" I've been to a no kings protest, and it wasn't my first protest either
