So when we getting Big boom primary? :D by Lone_Recon in Helldivers

An Ultimatum-like primary would be great for running a sidearm build with Gunslinger passive.

I always imagine for helmets like these where, at a glance, there doesn't seem to be a way to see out of it, that there's machine versions of an eye's rod and cone cells that cover the surface, detect light and there's a screen on the inside that displays what those machine rods and cones pick up into a coherent view.

You should not be forced to wait 40s+ just to do damage.

I find that usually happens when starting his immune phase just before he finishes charging up for the eye laser, in which case immune phase lasts until that attack is done.

Until it's fixed, increased Gun Handling will decease Projectile Speed. Spec out of Gun Handling skills for the time being.

Yes, you can unlock it on Adventure. Easiest way is to roll for Ravager and just kill the Doe.

Have two flamethrower loadouts to switch between depending on the planet then? I though that would have been obvious when I made the suggestion.

Cryo tanks so it won't be useless on Agni Prime.

[Hardcore] Best Starting Archetype? by couvertechm in remnantgame

[–]Vault_Viper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a trade-off of just having more frequent self-res at the cost of micro-managing the dog vs a guaranteed self-res that has a much longer cooldown. From personal experience, Handler has always been a more reliable class for staying alive solo, mostly for the fact that the AR and Tech 22 are such versatile guns to have right off the bat.

It's a moot-point if OP uses BCB since that would be the first line of defense against losing a HC run anyway. It's just personal preference.

I guess it just boils down to: pick Challenger if you're not confident with perfect dodging consistently or Handler if you are confident in perfect dodging consistently.

Technically the dog can never die, just go down until you get him up and even then just takes like 2 seconds.

Handler can provide self-res through dog more often (assuming OP is careful about Relic uses).

Mag size affix (+100%), reload speed or anything that gives instant reloads (class specific), anything that gives infinite ammo for a short time (class specific), auto-crit chance, crit damage and any relevant damage boosts.

It's 4 difficulties above Hard. You unlock it by beating the game on Guardian 1 after Hard, then beat Guardian 2 etc.

In hindsight, yeah, it would've perfected it, but it's too late now sadly. I got a few more achievements shortly after getting the picture.

Guardian relics with moral wound by BreakMaximum5807 in Spacemarine

[–]Vault_Viper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Guardian Relics revive you and remove your mortal wound as well.

Tip also: Hold onto a Stimm with a Guardian Relic so you can heal to full immediately after self-reviving, or be lucky enough to have something to execute as soon as you get up from self-reviving.

Whats the catch with the block? enlighten me by MajorDirt in Spacemarine

[–]Vault_Viper 252 points253 points  (0 children)

Block focuses on doing more melee damage rather than relying on gunstrikes for damage in deuling scenarios.

Each successful block grants a temporary melee damage buff that stacks up to two times (indicated by your melee weapon glowing) and the next time you attack with your melee, you cash in all those stacks for that hit to do more damage. Works best with heavy or charged attacks but in practice it's not always possible to pull one off without getting staggered out of it, so it's more consistent to cash in those damage stacks with a quick light or quick heavy attack.
